What a nostalgia trip. And what a journey it has been that we, the Guardians of Humanity haven taken upon us. So much history, so many memories. Victories, triumphs and losses. We've endured it all. We've slain Gods and those that would call themselves such. Over and over, we've proven our and humanities right to exist. We changed time itself, manipulated the fabric of the very universe. Our path has been marked with ups and downs and yet we prevail, yet here we are. Grim and dark times lay before us but together, we shall overcome this challenge like those in the past. Thank you for this wonderful and touching video!
just saw this, beginning felt slow and out of pace, but when the music picked up and the cuts of varying combat scenes kept me engaged, I couldn't stop thinking: "This, this is the war we have been fighting for so long. We just couldn't see all of it."
Wonder if Zavala is one of the 3 astronauts from the original D1 intro, only transformed into an Awoken when the Darkness originally entered the Sol system. Would be a cool little twist.
That is very highly unlikely, seeing as there had to be enough time for humanity to expand and develop cities on multiple worlds, which probably took centuries.
@@highl4ndr973 And yet we don't know how long it took for the tech for increasing lifespans took to create, and the astronauts onboard the mars landing were likely middle-aged, so they probably died before the collapse even occured
I've been a bit burned out with the Destiny grind and have been thinking how I'm still in it for the story. This just reinvigorates that love and the journey its been. :'D
What is destiny?...nothing more than stories of tragic fates intertwining to survive one final stand. And then there's you...A lone guardian full of potential. Potential to master both light and dark in complete balance. Potential to change the universe. Potential to survive.
@@Boobrio Yeah, and most of it is hidden away off screen. Important events and characters are iced and completed completely off screen too. Show, don’t tell, I’ve heard is how good storytelling is executed.
