Exploring anything I can think of relating to radio controlled scale crawling, especially micro crawlers, and I’ll throw in some bashing material from time to time as well.
@@rcocm thanks so much buddy! I have a scale body wrapped in plastic that fits perfectly in the bed of the truck. People enjoyed that a lot at Axialfest. 😆
@@CK4RC just got a green one for Father's day, picked up solid brass 40g wheels and painted them black, glued the stock tires to the wheels, looks stock!
Two nice little trucks ....but I can't understand how a company puts a body on a truck that rubs . That new 1/10 redcat would drive me crazy 🤪 I would be hacking away at the front arches 1 minute after unboxing 🤭😂 lots of carisma 1/24 trucks for sale in Europe .I must check this one out .thanks for sharing....Harry
The vintage Latrax models are hard to find. It's even rare to find one that works. Latrax(of the 1970's/1980's) were no Nikko or Tyco RC. Their products would stop working after a week. Never bothered to buy the parts to make my car work again. There are wonderful display piece. But terrible when it comes to operating them as they never worked.
I can only imagine! I'm sure the electronics were questionable at best in the early days of RC. The battery compartment on this one is so corroded, the metal contacts are completely deteriorated/rusted completely out. I just had to have one for my shelf, since it resembles my first 1:1 car so much!
Funny I just put the furitek combo into my Scx24 power wagon same orange colour. Took several attempts to get the mesh right but it’s loud and clicks.. I’ve got brass weights steering servo waiting on wheel and tires
That would be fun! The bad news is the speed is nearly uncontrollable on this truck. The drag brake is a big problem (even on the lowest settings), and even though it has a wide stance, it has way too much speed to handle corners very well at all. It's more of a novelty to have it run so quick, but unfortunately it doesn't translate to useable speed.
As with most front servo and servo saver are trash, I had a rear link mount pull the screws out of the mount. In order to pull the bed off it was like 20 different screws.
All things considered its a well detailed fun little 4x4 .look forward to seeing how it goes on your home course . Great car for a beginners first car 🤗
I don’t have high hopes because of how twitchy the controls are and the weight distribution, but it really is a neat little truck! Thanks for checking it out!
Great looking truck ...I have the exact same truck but under a different brand name . I bought it in Ireland a month ago but haven't unboxed it yet 🙃 i wondered looking at the rear driveshaft. If later i could cut the frame and turn it into a four wheel wagon ....love your presentation style 👌 😊
