Seductive Females are the worst. lol Very good tips. The scammers are very creative. I got an email from an RC channel saying that I won a drawing. The channel was legit and the guy had plenty of videos and time in. The problem was he wanted $50 for shipping. I thought about it and asked what was in the mystery box. "you'll be getting some real cool stuff like T-shirts with his logo and other stuff" I'll pass on that. The only place I buy from is Ebay, Amazon or my local hobby store. Places like Jconcepts and Proline are always good but Banggood and other places like China I just avoid. Sometimes your forced to by used parts from private parties but so far though E-bay I have never had an issue.

Yeah, if they're selling through eBay or Amazon, you can pretty much count on not getting ripped off. The customer service may not be the best depending on the seller, but it's unlikely to be outright scammed. I've used Banggood a few times and been lucky so far, but I definitely get the hesitation.
