I was there yesterday it was sooo hotttt 😅 and I was so sad about haunted mansion they made our group wait 52mins in the direct sun and the worker said if we left the line we forfeit our tickets for the day and won’t get back in haunted mansion cus you can only get one pass per day. We Only went a day so we had to wait but that was a horrible experience. The poor lady next to me was sick from the heat waiting all the way till the end then left literally minutes before they started back up. Disney needs some shade and misters like Orlando
That's horrible! It was so hot waiting out there last time I did HM, and it was at least 10 degrees cooler than now. But there's no shade or anything, it's ridiculous to have guests wait like that in the heat 😫
Yey, congratulations on 1,000 subs 🎉🎉🎉 You totally deserve way more, I've been here since about 150 i think and I've been waiting for the algorithm to pick you up ❤
It's even been warm in the Netherlands (well, for the Netherlands, anyway; it's rarely THAT hot here). Thanks for lots of great tips! And congrats on 1000+! 🥳
Philharmagic is one of my faves, mainly because you get to see Donald's butt at the end! Lol Congrats on 1000 subscribers!! You put in a lot of hard work and you deserve it my friend!! ❤🎉
You can get ice water from any quick service food location, you just go up and ask. And I went over all the water bottle refill spots and places to get ice in this video 😁
@@TikiRikAdventures oh i know! It was just be good to have a video specifically on that if someone searches where to find free water in Disney! And you didnt show clips for all of them:)
Been watching for a while, out of all the vloggers I have to say you are so kind and take the time to explain things and give really good suggestions/advice. We’ve been going to the parks for years and would’ve never thought to take the hydration tablets with us. Thank you for the tips
Congratulations on reaching 1,000 subscribers!! I so appreciate all your reviews and comments on the different food options and the concern and useful tips for the current hot weather conditions and people’s safety in the parks was just great and so thoughtful. Thank you for what you do.
I’m always “gobsmacked”, as my English husband would say, when I see folks walking around the DLR Resort in hoodies, spirit jerseys and flannel shirts in hot weather. I nearly get heat stroke just looking at them! 😳🥵 Great tips!
That would be great news! I'll have to look into this again, because the last I heard, they got rid of the piano player a few months ago and when I was in there last week, there wasn't even a piano on stage anymore 😥
Couple of years ago, I went to my first Disney park in over 20 years, and right in the middle of a heat wave. 🥵 Small World was a walk on and I needed out of the heat bad. Because of that day, Small World became one of my favorite rides unironically. It's a great ride and the AC is top notch!
Hey Rik! Loved the DCA vlog. Hoping we all can meet up (or just us) when I get back! Hoping passes come available soon or at least a 3-day pass. Need my Halloween fix! It’s my fav! Does Miss Daisy have a Halloween outfit? Stay safe in the heat! You took one for the team that day!! Hugs, Carol
I have a question, with the risk of sounding like a very uneducated person, what makes it a spirit jersey...I mean what is the difference between a regular shirt and a spirit one?
I really like your food reviews. You always have something to say and it's always something meaningful. You also have a really good way of talking to the camera.
I realized DL and DCA have more and more spicy/hot food. I don't eat anything spicy at all, no salsas, I'm such a bad Mexican, so it's getting harder for me to find food I like at the parks :(
@TikiRikAdventures I almost ate that yesterday, but a friend recommended a cheese burger and fries from smokejumpers grill, and it was pretty good. I'll keep that chicken in mind. Thank you 😉
@@letysilisibarreche6686 Bengal BBQ is also a great option, either the beef or chicken (don't get the Banyan Beef spicy one by mistake though), the bacon asparagus skewer is fantastic, too. I also like Carnation Cafe, they have some good options. And the Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans too! A Disney corn dog is also always yummy.
@TikiRikAdventures thank you! I really appreciate those suggestions. Last time I went to Rancho Zocalo, I had to return my food after the 1st bite. It was super hot for me, well everything is spicy for me. I have zero tolerance for hot/spicy food :(
Love it! You are the first Caucasian vlogger I’ve watched say these words and describe these foods with great diction and some knowledge. Kudos to you, sir! I am Filipino, myself. But working in east Los Angeles for over 17 years, I have fallen in love with the culture of the community and have great respect for the diversity Southern California has. We definitely do not highlight them enough in the parks. It has also been pretty disappointing to see an on going trend in you tube, and sadly, a lot of Disney content creators (not all. Don’t come for me) just are not culturally diverse enough. With that said, I do appreciate you for this content and it brings me so much joy to see and watch you share your knowledge with your viewers. Thank you❣️
I have always appreciated cultural diversity and we're so lucky in southern california to have representation for so many different cultures. I took several Cultural Anthropology classes in school, and I love learning about different lifestyles and foods! I took Mesoamerican History classes, and the food and art aspects gave me a deep appreciation for other people's heritage, and I always have an open mind and love trying new, interesting foods. It's a bummer when people are scared to try new or different foods, I love spices and flavors from all over the world (American food can be so bland and blah).
I want to try the torta cubana, pumpkin dulce cream puff, pumpkin king cold brew and peanut butter cold brew...and who knows what else..so many choices
There's so many choices! I want to try all of that on my next visit this week. I heard the torta was good, the pumpkin cream puff at Rancho was great last year (it's different with the dulce de leche, sounds even better now) and the PB cold brew sounds yummy too 😁
Luckily I got tickets for sept. 5th, when oogie boogie bash and Mickey’s not so scary party aren’t happening. I was NOT going to pay full price to get kicked out early. I’m glad I did my research, I’m a severe overthinker. But u see, it is an asset when planning trips 😂
I waited for 25 minutes, I noticed that the line does get longer at times though. The characters rotate too, so if you see Pain & Panic out and get in line, it might be Prince Hans (or someone else) by the time you actually get up to the front of the line.
@@JerrodJourneys I hope you meet them too! Ask one of the character handlers by the fountain when they think Pain & Panic will be out, and they might be able to help you get in line at the right time
