Hi, my name is Kevin. Welcome to my channel KSL12. I have a passion for Supercars and Superbikes. Having recently retired from the family business where we sold and repaired new and used cars and motorcycles for over 45 years. I have owned Ferrari's for nearly 40 years. At present I have Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and new to my garage Ferrari Portofino. My motorcycles include BMW S1000R Sport, Royal Enfield 750 interceptor mk 1A, Vellocette Venom and a Triumph Trident 750 triple. I am new to RU-vid. I hope to do many videos based around my cars and bikes. If you like my videos please subscribe.
I've just bought an Aston Martin DBS so I'm looking forward to joining the NA V12 club. If I ever buy a Ferrari, the F12 will be the one. Lovely car sir
Good luck with the auction, I find that 7200 gbp buyers fee tends to be a sticking point at this price point. Maybe we could talk afterwards if it doesn’t sell, I could be interested.
Yes you pricked my conscious so thought I better check the plugs. I should try to do more than one video every couple of months .Hope to catch at one of the D/U events. Thanks for watching.
I have to agree with your comment… “you have to respect this car”. The F12 is the first car that I have owned where I have to actually think about the car, conditions and road ahead etc before laying into the power. If you don’t treat that thing with some respect it will bite you.
Yes I think they just need bedding in a bit as they are all new. I replaced the battery and now it starts second kick. Don't think there was enough power for the electronic ignition. Thanks for watching.
Nice Mk1. I'm currently refurbishing a 1959 Royal Enfield Constellation. Lots to do, but great fun. Takes me back fifty years to my first Constellation! What torque did you tighten he head bolts, as workshop manuals from the 1960s are not to informative?
Hi yes I had a Constellation about 50 years ago which I built out of parts. I didn't know it had sidecar forks on it so at 90mph it got in a bit of a wobble.. I torqued the head bolts down to about 20ftlbs no more. Thanks for watching.
Did you know you had all that work to do when you bought it, or did you just get unlucky? Seems like you must have a lot of patience, to buy a car and wait 3 years to drive it properly……..!!
No didn't know the car was in such a poor state as it had full service history. But as i have been in the garage business all my life I enjoyed doing it.
Yes I have owned a 308 GT4 a 308 GTS which i owned for over 35 years 355 GTS, 355Spider, 458 Spider, 430 Spider, Portofino, GTC4 Lusso T and the F12.@@LarryKippings
Its brilliant you will be making the Venom more usable. Love the garage. I'm sure you will get a good price for the Lusso. It should be in demand now, what with usable controls and the high price for the current Purosangue!
Good question I prefer the look of the F12 but I haven't tried an 812 so I can't say but I do know some that have gone back to an F12 after having an 812. Thanks for watching.
