Hi, my name is Kyra. I am 30 something year old woman living in the Netherlands. I started a RU-vid channel in 2015 and found my love for art, creating and sharing. I have a passion for visual story telling and I got a degree in Graphic Design. Now, my life hasn’t always been about sunshine and rainbows. I have ADHD, ASD characteristics and PTSD. Growing up in a toxic environment has left it’s scars but being creative and sharing my story has helped me a lot. I combine mental health with art and journaling and share my tips and tricks I have learned over the years. I am very passionate about breaking the taboo around mental health.
So enough hard talk, I also create for fun and to inspire others. I love to send snail mail to my subscribers and discover new ways of being creative. I love documenting my life in several memory keeping ways and journaling is always a big part in my life. My goal is to inspire you and kickstart your creativity!
I found you by way of Margareth at SevenPlaza... Thank you, Kyra, for trusting us by sharing your struggles, I truly appreciate your bravery and honesty. You seem to be doing well with your mental health journey and I hope you continue to do so. I enjoyed watching your crafty session and look forward to more of your videos... remember to do what makes you happy!! You're a great inspiration!
I have watched tons of glue book videos. Until I found your video, I had decided this wasn't something I wanted to try. Perhaps it's the challenge that has just a few prompts that do not clutter the page. I have been looking for magazines, but this day of digital seems to make the physical book obsolete. Use to see them in the doctors office, but not today. Thank you for helping me understand the process of creating a glue book. I think I'll give it a try. I am looking forward to seeing what you create for the set of prompts. You go girl!
Ah thank you so much!! 🥰💙 This comment made me so happy to read! I hope you find your way with glue books. 😊 Remember there are no rules and do what you love to do. And yes, digitals are fun but finding treasures in old books is my absolute favorite thing to do! 😄
I have just begun crafting and came across this tutorial. I absolutely love this and called my sister to tell her to watch it as we are embarking on this new crafting journey together. I am very saddened to learn of her passing last year. I had no idea. I only knew that I loved her work and her beautiful accent. I liked this tutorial and subscribed to her page to honor her perseverance and beautiful spirit. My sincere condolences to you, her family, and friends.❤
That was a resolution for me this year- use what I have bought- but sometimes it’s painful with things that are just so lovely to look at. I am soldiering on though. Even using things I only have one of. 😃
Love this Kyra! The handstitching is so cute! Are the green labels from the junk journalstudio? 👀 or are those tracy fox? I think i need them in my life 🤣
Thank you!! 🥰💙. The labels on the tag are Tracy Fox and on the page are from Michelle The junk journal studio. And yes, you need them both in your life. 😂
Thank you so much Vivian!! 🥰💙 Life is okay here above the river. I hope you are doing well or at least okay too. 💙 Hope you will enjoy when you return. 😘💙
Another masterpiece 🤩 I absolutely love to see your process. The ID card is soooo cool and the end result is amazing😇The way you line up the stamps is so smart. I wish i had all of the stamps hahah can I win the lottery now pleaseee🤣 unfortunately it will take time to grow my stamp collection hahah. Great video sweetie! 😘 Ooh! I have a question about the printed acetate! Did you use an inkyet printer by any chance? Ive been looking for clear overhead projector sheets but so far no luck
Ah thank you so much!!! 🥰💙 This comment makes me so happy!!! So good to hear you found something useful in my video. 🥰 Ugh yes!! I totally understand you. 🙈 But like you said, in time you will have loads!! 😄 It is good to have a wishlist when you want to get yourself a little gift. 🤭 For the acetate with the leaves. I stamped on that with StazOn ink and used Tim Holtz leaves stamps. 😄 So no printing, just stamps 😄. My printer is acting up after using it several years, so I might need to get a new one. 🙈
@@KyraPace oooh my wishlist is endless lenme tell you😂🤣 and oooh didn’t even think about stamping on acetate😱 Gosh ur so smart haha 🤩 Thank you for letting me know😇. Printerwise, if i may be so frank, i can totally recommend an epson ecotank. The ammount of ink you get is amazing, Ive printed over 600 pages now and im still using the ink it came with. So definitely way cheaper than the regular ones🤩
Thank you!! 🤭🥰💙 And thank you for your recommendation! I was thinking about an Epson Ecotank. So the more people recommend the better! 😄 What is the printer number of yours, if I may ask? I saw there are several ecotanks
@@KyraPace i have this one- Epson EcoTank ET-2825. It’s in investment i guess but i already saved sooo much on ink in comparison to cartridges. So totally worth it. Now there are better epsons out there ofcourse, but im definitely happy with it. Its an inkjet. ☺️
Thank you for sharing! 🙏💙 Yes it is, but I have an older laser printer that is acting up with very expensive toners. I feel it had it's best life and I would love to have a more affordable one in use. It will def be a good investment as I love to use digitals. 😍
