Today I am creating simple specimen tags for a junk journal I am working on. I used some Tim Holtz products for this and vintage botanical book pages. I love creating little junk journal ephemera pieces like this to spice up my project.

I love how you persevered thru the unplanned twists and turns in this project. And look how beautiful the tags turned out! I need to learn from this lesson and do the same. Thank you for sharing ALL of it with us. You have wonderful and inspiring talent.

So pretty! To keep your fingers tidy you could apply the gilding wax with a q-tip/cotton bud.

Thank you for sharing. Beautiful tags and accordion journal. When I am punching thick paper I put it on the table and press down.

Loved this project, Kyra 👌💕 We all have little gremlins in our craft rooms that come in and hide our very "prepared" project pieces 🤣 And, yes, your pretty little yellow flower will just magically appear some day... keeps it all real 😜 Really loved the leather tabs... That is a new one for me... so excited to have a play with them!!!! I am gathering goodies for a someday steampunk journal and I think some bad tabs here and there will add a super nice touch 👍 Thanks so much for sharing that tidbit 🌷 Blessings~~~

Beaytiful accordian journal…Love how you make “windows.” You bought the Sam Poole math stamp I’ve been eyeing…So cool!💜 Is the TH cardstock smooth or textured? You might get through thicker material if you lay your punch on your desk and put all your strength into pressing the lever (I have tiny hands and have found it helpful).

Thank you so much!! 🥰💙 Hehe of course I had to buy it. 😂 I couldn't resist 😂. The TH cardstock is smooth, I really like it. 😄 When you go over it with the sanding tool it will create some texture. I really like that look. That is a very good tip! I will try that out! Thank you! 🥰💙
