i pick dallas mavericks win this battles because of relationship of the player Luka and Kyrie both play in elite way. and Boston this time have a problem of bec. jayson tatum not selected as ECF MVP and it can effect of his performances.
Mavs fan here. I haven't watched a lot of Celtics games. I didn't think Mavs were going to pull it off against the Timberwolves, although I predicted them to win against Clippers and Thunder. The way they dominated the Timberwolves makes me think that Mavs can win against the Celtics. It's hard to guard Luka and Kyrie plus Gafford/Lively at the same time. They pose so much threat offensively - not sure there is any team in the NBA this year that can stop them effectively. Not making any predictions, but I like our chances against the Celtics and prove all the haters wrong.
I know Luka would agree, I would split the mvp award in half, and give them to the tag team mvps D Lively and D Gafford, best big man tag team in the league.
Yeah that first play you mention, when the score was 18 to 18, that where it all started, the beginning of the end. Not gonna lie, I only relaxed when garbage time began.
Not a big basketball fan but my two cents after watching these teams. It all depends on Porzingis. If he can stop the lobs to Lively and Gafford, then I think the perimeter defense can hold the mavs enough to get the dub. If the Mavs continue to get 25-35 points on the inside then it's over. If the Mavs beat the Celtics in the finals, Boston should get on the phone, call Cleveland and work out a deal centered around a Brown for Donovan Mitchell swap. I think both teams get better this way, Garland finally can run the offense with Brown as a less ball dominant costar and the celtics get a LEGIT flamethrower that can actually create for others instead of just himself. Ik Celtics fans dont want to hear this right now when they still have a real chance at a ring...but how many times does this team have to come up short before you realize tatum and brown are more KD/Russ than MJ/Pippen? Tatum is forced to play a specific role on this team because of how incredibly gifted but incredibly limited his costar is. I love Browns talent and ability...I hate his style of play for this team, hes so good at what he does (attack attack attack) but his limitations as a playmaker holds this offense back. But his two way prowess and off-ball/quick off the dribble attacking ability could open things up for Mobley as a scorer and Garland as a facilitator. I think the cavs wouldnt take brown for mitchell straight up, but I think Mitchell and Okoro for Brown, White and a protected first round pick is a fascinating proposal. Personally, I'd hate to give up White but Mitchells presence instead of browns creates less of a need for another ballhandler/playmaker in the starting lineup. Okoro fills the white role as an elite wing defender while providing athleticism and 3 point shooting as a more off-ball player. And White helps offset the loss in playmaking from swapping Mitchell for Brown while not sacrificing any defense from the white-okoro swap. Both teams walk away feeling like they won the trade, and both teams get better. But the Celtics are the ones who'd win the chip lol
I just see Boston having overall healthier players by the time finals happens Mavs seem pretty beat up from tough competition and Boston hasn’t really had anyone to challenge them the same
Boston won't let Dallas stay in the game as long as the inexperienced Oklahoma and Minnesota teams did. They will have to work very hard to stay in the game and I think it can effect them in the clutch. But Boston are the opposite , very gettable in the clutch. The irony is Dallas have one of the hardest routes to the final , Boston one of the easiest
lol they been letting the pacers without haliburton hang with them let alone even have leads . They just turn stupid last 2 minutes not something the mavs do
I believe if both team goes to final.. boston will more likely to win.. boston is a bad matchup for dallas... but i will still root for dallas since kyrie and lukahas been fenomenal in the playoff..
Clippers, OKC, and Minnesota were also suppose to be a bad matchup for the Mavs but everyone forgets that Luka and Kyrie is a bad matchup for everyone else
Boston almost lost 2 to the Pacers so far. That series should be 2-1 in favor of the Pacers. Mavs can definitely beat the Celtics playing like they are, and they have been tested. Celtics won't be tested until the meet the Mavs in the finals.
@@ernestomoreno4409 correct...two close wins against a team missing it's superstar player. If they had Haliburton that series goes to six or seven games. Dallas has close wins against teams with their superstars.

@alexando587 I give wolves 1-2 wins. Lively is a big part of our defense. And if wolves are smart they're gonna attack that. If not then this is a sweep
@@jjcometa9333 Dude Ky is 13-0 in closeout game in his career 2-0 this season. this is a sweep, no one but the Tpups are going back to Minn. I just hope this isn't a blowout game like against the Suns two years ago. Reports I heard this morning is he is a game time decision for tomorrows game.

@@jjcometa9333 oh yeah i like how they are thinking after the game when Luka and Ky hugged they both said "one more" they know what they need to do. Ky didn't go 13-0 in close out games without knowing what's the prize.
What worries me about our Celtics playing them is that we have these periods during the game that we can't do anything and all of a sudden the other team is 10-12 points ahead. Also the last game we missed countless 3's for some reason. I can't figure us out.
That's the main reason I give Mavs the edge. Both teams are elite defensively and offensively but Celtics are prone to looking clueless for periods of time and just making low IQ decisions. I trust Luka and Kyrie to be consistent, make the right play and close out games much more than Tatum and Brown which I think will be the difference maker but we'll see. Celtics probably have the best squad in the League to try and shut down Mavs offense since pretty much all their starters can switch.
Celtics are streaky. They can play good for a stretch of minutes but then the next several they forget what to do. They cannot be streaky against the Mavs. If they do, Dallas might blow them out.
@@TrueGuardify true but switching one defender who can’t guard Lukai for another one who can’t isn’t gonna cut it…they’ve cooked Kawhi, George, Mann, Dort, Williams, SGA, McDaniels, Edwards as well as defensive bigs Chet and Gobert…I’m respectful but not afraid of the Celtics
