This is what they need. Just one role player balling from the 3. Rn their defense is really great. Clippers needed to shoot 50% or higher from the 3pt line just to win 12 points or less. Keep that same energy next game. Luka seems fine. He wont be sick or as sick next game. Hopefully kyrie balls out next game. His great game was wasted, but i think hes gonna have a great game on mavs home court

@7:28 ... kidd made a career doing that runoff pick running the break w the nets, dropping dimes to the trailer. he was faster than everybody so he would play off the backboard too... it's simple, the mavs are finally learning how to play like the nets and kidd of old, "play defense and run."

The nba is not "supposed" to be involved in betting. It may just be the nba refs that are involved. The nba talking heads would not acknowledge the mavs greatness until they kept shoving it up their asses😮😮

Well you have to front the offensive player you cannot allow him to go past you. Thats the only defense for it. Or if the player has a weak side you push him to that side but Luka and Kyrie have no weak sides. You just got to stay in front of them. Everyone is worried about Luka. They’re not paying attention to their surroundings. So they fail to front their “man”

That's exactly the reason luka should have led in assists. He can provide wide open shots but can't make them fall while he is being a ball hog and not getting his team involved

you asked how? @2:30 it starts. 1. Dont follow your offensive player to the screen. Go to the direction the player will go using the screen and prevent movement for a moment. 2. Don't be standing flat footed like 4/5 of the defenders are. @2:48 the help defender is still flat footed and should be closer to the corner of the key where he at least looks like he is going to stop Luca. Yes that leaves his man open more but now 2 other flat footed defenders could step into the lane and prevent the free moving offensive player such an easy path to the goal. @3:07 He picked up the ball so belly up on him so the pass is very hard to make. Instead they both float with Luca because they are flat footed. And still the other 2 aren't preventing the person cutting down the lane. This is middle school stuff. Don't let someone enter the lane without bumping them. But these oversided babies don't want to touch anyone. I think they all have aspbergers.
