Perception: I thought this grass fire was being filmed by a drone. Only when you turned around and spoke on radio did I see my error. I swear, y'all are heros, every one of you. 💪🎖👍
Been busy busy busy we've had a couple of fires but the video is not been real great we lost a house last week put the video is all dark because it was late
Dang bud I can tell this season is going to be long. So plenty of time to get plenty of brush fires and stuff. Winter was slow and now it's summer again please be safe and how's the family and farm
This is the first time I've seen anyone using full-face respirators. Do you find them effective for this type of fire? Is it just the particulates that you're trying to avoid?
I don't get notifications for your short videos only your uploads. We're gearing up here in eastern Oregon it's going to be a hell of a fire season with the tall dry sheet grass up in the hills.
Are grass fire Seasons pretty much over we're going to be in wheat stubble season I have a couple little grass fire videos that I haven't put up yet not much to really show not been so busy farming that I haven't had a chance to mess with them
Great job. I know it's dangerous, but that looks like a fun assignment. Has anyone tried to use one of those water trucks that are used on construction sites, that have the big spray nozzles on the front and back? I wonder if you could just drive around the perimeter with the fan spray on. That would be cool if you could.
When and where is your anchor, flank and pinch. I know u all are jus volunteers so am I but no hating I know you don't have the time to train🎉 or funding for it but best of luck. If u get a chance go watch( its jus a grass fire) good job kicking but.
I've noticed that you routinely drive over live fire. I have seen serval trucks get disabled by doing that. Electrical wires have melted and grounded out, as well as airlines melting resulting in a brake getting locked up. I have never seen it, but I was told that a truck actully burned because a fire started underneath. Be careful.
This is awesome. I was looking at this when it came out and couldn’t find anyone that used it on hard posts. I have black locust trees everywhere to use. I found a pretty good deal On it and I had to just take a gamble and buy it. Haven’t used it yet.
You will not be disappointed hard posts are the worst you'll get it started you think and then you hit it and pow there goes your staple and you got to try it again if nothing else this will get it in far enough you can smack it with a hammer the rest of the way but I bet it will get it in as far as you need it to
Hi to all i need to say that saving lifes is a must i am a 23 year volunteer firefighter we need to stop the game of jugeing people all we want to do is to be the person who can rescue those in need dark ours go by no one there to rescue you? Let me say it is no go homes can loss total but life not
I no it’s 2 yrs after this fire but I have to ask, was this arson? Control burn that went way south? I’m a firefighter in southwest Missouri we work a lot of grass/field fires but nothing like this, Prob can’t remember but any clue what the wind speed was cause this fire was moving like crazy!.
