I recently downloaded a JM Jarre sheet..and there are for example TWO D.S. signs at the beginning of a piece (Oxygene)...the sheet has a very complicated repeating scheme, even with your help here it's very hard to decipher it, lol. Why did they put in 2 D.S. signs together, I just don't get it...I'll be forced to import the wav file into Cubase, to see what's going on. But thanks for the basics here, great work and demo!
I cant sing at all anymore, its the only thing i had i was grateful for. I cant stop vaping, its harder then smoking. These things where made for quitting smoking and now theres double the challenge to get off nicotine. These have more nicotine then a pack of cigarettes. They're highly addictive and evewhere and so easy to pick up again. I only get 3 months and im back on them. If your reading this as a casual vaper, please throw it away before it takes over you wallet life and health. Also im aging badly i have crows feet at 24.

In terms of the inflamed vocal chords due to the exposure to high temperatures, would the same be true for drinking hot tea while singing? Or is it mainly when there is direct exposure of high temperatures to the vocal chords?
Good question. Because tea goes down your esophagus, it won’t touch your vocal folds and definitely won’t have quite the same negative effect as hot steam. That said, if it’s very hot, it can still affect other tissues in the mouth and throat and cause inflammation. A lot of vocal health professionals will recommend room temperature, but I would say figure out what affects you. Scalding hot is not recommended, but warm probably isn’t bad. I would just want to make sure the tea itself isn’t dehydrating (check what is inside of it). Experiment a little and figure out what affects you! Everyone is different.

I've found drinking warm tea (usually green tea, or with ginger) that it's easier to sing, but it can make my voice sound gunky shortly after drinking which fades away after 10-15 minutes. Was just wondering if that was a symptom of inflammation (mouth, throat, anything).

How about smoking weed? I’ve been smoking daily and I’ve noticed my voice feels different. As if I were sick but I’m not. I can still sing but it sounds different and deeper. I noticed my voice cracks a little more often too even just talking.
Smoking anything unfortunately will have a negative impact on your voice, increasing dryness, swelling, and over time allowing toxins to absorb into the vocal folds.
super cool. definitely you’re likely to see improvement after stopping, but it would take some time. However, because I am not a doctor and don’t know your voice personally, for specific and accurate advice, you’d want to see a doctor who is a laryngologist, which would specialize in vocal health. best of luck on your journey!
Allergy to dust mites, terrible for my voice and nose, teeeeerrible. I have immunotherapy but it takes so much time to give some effect. Sometimes i cant warm up my voice for hours..
