@@tannerkennedy4192 Sadly no, not good for Element Builds. If anything, they are decent for using on Raw damage Builds, if your target has a water Weakness. But for Element Builds, they have no chance at beating the Almudron DBs.

@@emmanuelespirituvlogs1987 You might have missed something here. Single shot Builds always refer to Piercing Element Ammo, not the regular Element Ammo. Kush LBG = best for Single shot Piercing Ice. Rathalos = best for Single shot Piercing Fire. Yes, they both have Rapid Fire on the regular Ice & Fire Ammo, but that is not what they perform best in.

Yup, I also mention that in the Video 😊 You can use rapid fire LBGs on the single shot Build & vice versa. It's not optimal, but works absolutely fine 👍🏽

Situational. I used to use it alot more, but some of the changes that came along with Sunbreak & the title updates, made other Switch Skills pull ahead, in terms of overall performance. I do still use it from time to time though, because it's definitely not "bad".

I mention in the Video that Dragon Elemen Ammo would have it's own seperate Video, for various reasons. In short: Dragon Element Ammo is realy only built for when doing speed runs. It just has too many limitations with how little Ammo we can carry, to be valid for regular hunts. It's far more efficient to go for the Monsters 2nd weak element and use that specific Ammo. But if you still wanna use Dragon Ammo, the only realy good option for it is the Silver Shooter (Primordial Malzeno LBG), since it has both regular Dragon & Piercing Dragon Ammo on Rapid Fire.

Hey there 🖐🏽That's a tricky questuion! 😄 It's a bit more complicated than "Wich does more DMG in general - Raw, or Element" It will depend on your own skill & how well you can aim for weakpots/elemental hitzones and consistantly hit them. If your aim is good & you can consistantly hit the correct elemental weakpots, then elemenal Piercing Ammo will deal higher DMG. But if you want a more "comfertable" playstyle were it doesnt realy matter if you miss a few shots & basically fire non-stop, then something like rapid fire Pierce will likely deal more DMG. Since you can keep firing without worrying much about your Ammo running out, or not hitting the perfect wekapots occasionally. But you also have to keep in mind that some Monsters simply dont have any good Element, or Raw Weakspots for Ranged Weapons. So in those cases wichever has the higher weakpots will deal more DMG.

Are you perhaps looking for a early Sunbreak Pierce LBG Build/Weapon choice ? In that case i would say just go with the Nargacuga LBG. And if you dont have access to it yet, the upgradet Izuchi LBG will be sufficient untill then. But if you are in late/Endgame, I'll be completely honest: Dont do it! 😅 There is literally no reason to run Pierce Lv 1 Ammo, insted of Lv 2 in late/endgame. You will be loosing alooot of damage by going with Pierce Lv 1! There's not even a good weapon choice for it in late/endgame 😄

@@YokaiNox Yeah, I wanted it for end game. Mainly because I don't wanna have to keep crafting Pierce LV 2 mid hunt when I can just grab a bunch of latch berries to restock. But if there's no good weapon for it. Oh well. I saw that the Barioth LBG had full slots for decorations, but it's LV 1 Pierce is auto reload and thus relegated to only 1 shot before having to reload. Which lowers DPS immensely. Thanks for you're help though

@@oucyanNo problem, any time! Recrafting is waaaay faster than grabbing berries!😄 Just put Pierce Lv 2 on your itemwheel & set it to "craft all". You will have a full 60 bullets again in less than 1 second. And it's also incredibly cheap to recraft P2! You will literally never run out of P2 due to how many bullets you get from recrafting 😊👍

Sadly it falls waaay behind the other weapon choices shown in this Video. We're talking about something like a minimum 15% overall DPS drop, due certain draw backs on the Ammo types & the LBG itself 😅 (For just Normal Lv 2 Rapidfire it's still a "decent" choice. But the Chaotic Gore LBG still beats it for the same Ammo very easily)

Yup, absolutely! 👍🏽 It's not much different from just running Dragon Con + Furious. All you do is go to Blue Scroll > attack untill you get the e-resistance buff > switch to red scroll to get the Dragon Con e-attack buff > stay on red & enjoy. Dereliction & Strife will just do their own thing in the background. And if you have 1x Lv of Bloodrite, Dereliction will hardly even be noticable. The only difficult thing about it, is getting all the Skills you want into your Build, to your liking😄

I enjoy playing elemental GS from time to time. But the honest answer, it just gets significantly outperformed by Raw GS, in nearly every single case. However, elemental GS can still be used very effieintly with great results. But it does require adapting some outside of the box playstyles to make it "good" in the later stages of the game^^ Dont let anyone stop you from using it if you enjoy it! 👍🏽

That's an awesome deal you got there! Enjoy the ride! ^_^ Honestly, both games are phenomenal! But they do each have very different stong suits.

The most efficient way is to actually just foucs on grinding high tier anomaly investigations. Pick one that is fun to you & that you can consitantly complete in a reasonable time of your liking. I recommend sticking to investigations with 1 or 2 monsters as target. More is rarely worth it, due to some of the shinanigans that happen between the monsters & also the the occasional bad luck with HP modifiers.

It's explained in the Video 😄Offensive Guard only increases Raw Damafe. It has no effect at all on elemental Damage. Wich makes the skill next to worthless on elemental Builds.

Due to the diminishing returns of Wind Mantle, going for additional Frenzied Bloodlust has more value. But you can ofc still go for Wind Mantle if you like.

Yup, that was just me missing the 3rd ATK +4 Deco when making the overlay for the Build somehow 😄Luckily it's easy enough to tell when looking at the Skills here.

I’ve pretty much copied build number 2 exactly since I already had a poison Longsword build going and this just seemed like a more optimized version of what I had I think all I’m really missing is one level of masters touch since my talismans slots don’t really work for me to fit it in
