having police around is primarly for your safety and to prevent you from doing something silly. as you probably don't know, my country is targeted from a gang of western countries with some of their dogs.
I'm going to China right now. Why not buy a card at the airport? When I fly somewhere, I buy an eSim with only data, but I found out that such cards are often blocked and there are later problems with Alipay and Wechat payments. What do you think is the best choice?
Hola! Loved your video and I also read your article on this subject. Claro allows you to refill their prepaid plans -- does this mean you can keep the same Colombian cellular number? Or does it expire, then you need to buy another SIM card whenever you travel to Colombia. Please advise.
I can't believe there is any city in the world worth just one day. The longer in any place the more you get to know. Excited to visit Lusaka next summer and find the culture. ❤
That dude who’s working in that Zain booth should be fired. He doesn’t even have the decency of explaining the company’s product. Using phone in front of a potential customer is very disrespectful. Just goes to show that a lot of saudi employees are lazy and don’t work hard and only love shahee time.. 🤦🏻
My arrival was pretty quick I was out an in the KFC drive through line like in 15 minutes from stepping off the flight , now kfc was the longest wait but it was worth the wait..
Does anyone know if you need an unlocked phone for these sim cards or if it is just plug-and-play?. Some of the cards on Amazon need an unlocked phone.
Sorry mate ! I’ve had to queue up for immigration at LHR , MIA , CDG , LAX and other airports around the world for way over an hour at times . I appreciate that it isn’t great , this happens at KIN where I usually arrive on BA 🛬 . But 🇯🇲 is 3rd country as they call it here in the UK 🇬🇧 and USA 🇺🇸 but I think it’ll improve in time to come.
best buy in traditional phone and cell seller, you can get indonesian price. not traveler. and seller can help you to register with indonesian id card :v
@@TravelTomTom I know what you're saying. It's just that there is a lot of distance between Crete and mainland Greece' I'll take it that is a yes, the card does work.
Love your video TomTom, but our experience in travelling the UK in 2023 summer (presis being London to Bath, then down the Cornwall coast to Penzance, back to Kent along the Jurassic coast and then London) 3 provided really poor coverage. So many locations were SOS only. Further, we tried to dial some tourism related numbers (eg, to book a tour, make enquiries etc) and the 3 network wouldn't connect as seemingly we needed to be on a more expensive plan as some of these numbers reverse charge you (seemingly common , too, in the UK) . Did I say is was a pretty poor experience? I think this year we'll takes our chances with EE for it's broad coverage from London up to Scotland and back again. Fingers crossed.
Yes therefore I always recommend to check blogs, not simple videos. My blog explains exactly this and you would have avoided it. Check it out link in description!
