I would be proud of that, especially if it were on my own property. It seems though if you are going to that much trouble you should put wet-set-brackets in the piers and not embed the post. But that makes everything so much more complicated and expensive.
I can't give you a definitive answer on that, you have to add the 3rd function hydraulic for the grapple which I believe is tied into the front hydraulics. If this is the case, then you can still use the backhoe. I don't have the 3rd function and have never watched it being installed.
Hey Gary. I agree, with that much damage and the kind of heat we are getting, I'm sure it's going to die. Still, her only option was a new system to be installed in a different direction.
We carefully trenched in an electric line to Barbs portable building being very careful not to disturb the roots of the landscaping bushes we planted. The big trencher went down immediately and we had to use the walk behind backup unit. The problem was the exhaust blew right on the bushes . Didn’t kill them but they will never be right. I want to pull them but Barb is convinced they will come back.
I traded up from a bx23s tlb to a l2501 tlb two days ago.I couldn't be happier with my decision.Like you,I got this more for when I retire.Keep the videos coming.I have a lot to learn.
I have only replaced one hydraulic hose in the last 5 years, so I really can't say what is expensive, but I'm sure it's not cheap if something major breaks.
They just called it road base, not abc or 1 inch or anything pertaining to size. It is crushed limestone and there is a great deal of it that is too big to spread with the box blade which made it difficult to spread evenly. They are the only vendor for rock close enough to not have to pay extra for fuel, so I dealt with it.
Great video sir. Just wondering what it would take to burn the stump in its hole and then just cover it up? After all, it has to be disposed of anyway. Maybe diesel fuel, or, is there anything that could burn it faster?
I'm sure you could just burn them after digging around it or cut it off with a chainsaw below the ground level. Burning would be time consuming I believe.
@@odellmac2134 exactly. Seems that the hole makes a very safe burn pile anyway that doesn’t require baby sitting. Even if it doesn’t burn completely, you can still push your dirt back in and level it out.
looks like you have the 66" square bucket yes?? .. what size did you order the piranha tooth bar for it? ... I myself just bought a new 2501 and will get it in 2 weeks or so ... want to order the tothbar while I wait, but they ask about measurements and this and that but I do not have the tractor yet ... they have a 66" option in drop down on website, but they want me to measure first. These buckets must be standard across the board, so with size did you buy? ... 65 3/4 or 66??
The inside of the bucket measures about 64 1/2 inches and the tooth bar is 64 inches wide where it fits into the bucket. My bucket is just over 65 inches on the outside edge.
I like how smooth and effective you are with this tractor, you don’t seem to be in a raging hurry, but still get a lots of work done. I ordered a L2501 dt last month, and am even more excited for delivery next month, after watching your videos!
I'm watching your library. Just got a 2501 here in west Virginia. Good info! I like that tooth bucket, and know I need a backhoe, it's just not in the cards for now.
I like that you cut the trees and saplings about 2' from the ground...it gets all the tops, side branches, and face whackers out of the way, and easier to get in behind the stumps to pull vertically. Nicely done!
Thanks for the video. I've wanted a backhoe since I was a toddler and learned what they were. I will not be dissuaded, but at least now I know what I'm in for.
