last christmas, my sister is going to college next year, and she was being a bratty teen ruining everything for the whole family on christmas day. she went upstairs and we continued. they i looked to my side and saw my mom sobbing and crying uncontrollably. this song was playing. she said that she tried so hard to prepare and give everyone a great christmas, just to get insulted and unforgiving feelings from my sister. it broke my heart. everytime i hear this song, it reminds of what happened. i cant stop crying everytime i think of it because the last thing i want to see is my mom uncontrollably crying in sadness and pain. i love you mom.
I listened to 'Xfm's it's a cool cool Christmas' album from the early 00's and this song was on it. I always play through the indie Christmas tunes every year. ❤
I first found this song two years ago. I work at a Kohls and this was playing on one of the nights we were open til midnight and there were barely any customers in the store. It stood out to me because it isn't as pop-y as other christmas songs the store plays. Every time I hear it I think of that night, and though my life is miles better now, I get nostalgic for that time of my life...

I discovered this band six years ago and it sucks they disbanded, they would be creating gems still. I was 19 and heartbroken and now I am 25 and I still love this album! They were ahead of their time with this!
This song has been on my Christmas play list every year since 1999. It is timeless and has always captured the anticipation and excitement of a Christmas trip.
This has been one of my favorite Xmas songs. I grew up in Duluth, knew Mimi and Al. This year, it's been rough. Especially living out of state now, being away from everyone. The storm is passing, it looks like a snow globe out there today. Merry Christmas!

With all this 'woke crap' going on, it is sooo nice to see Christmas music like this still being played......the whole world has gone nuts and glad that stuff like this is still around for us to enjoy at this time of year 🌲

I find it amazing that this song (I'm from the U.K. so can only speak for us lot) wasn't huge! So glad it found an audience eventually. It blows my mind to think of the rubbish around at the time: 'millennium prayer' I think it's called by cliff Richard was plastered everywhere, much to my dismay. Anyways, great song!
I just watched The Sex Lives of College Girls, part 4 and there on the end was this beautiful song. I never heard about this song or group Low. And I read about the singer passed away. So sad. 🥀
