Just sharing the enjoyment I get from... stuff. Some stuff is new, some old. But all good. If you like what you see, consider subscribing! You never know what might happen 😀
flysky is unreliable you will lose connection and your planes will hit the ground your way better of with frsky or radiomaster even spectrum would be more reliable. take it from a guy who owns and uses all of these transmitters including transmitters that are unmentioned.
This is similar yo my HobbyKing Stinger 64mm 4s EDF jet. They are fast but your flying pretty good now you should be al good and if not will make a good video 😂
The trick to flying EDFS is to keep the speed up. That doesn't mean you need to be flying full throttle, but you need enough speed to allow for the control surfaces to work since you don't have a propeller creating air flow over the control surfaces and helping their effectiveness.
Thanks for this! It was only today when watching a 9yo fly one of those trick planes in a gymnasium that I realized props push air and sort of create a breeze absent of wind 🤯
Ithe FM's viper has reverse thrust. However it's not labeled.look for the yellow wire on the throttle connection the yellow wire is always reverse thrust no matter the manufacturer it's just not normally labeled.
The good thing about EDFs is you don't have to worry about compressor stalls or flame outs. Those 2 things really determine how a jet (true turbine) flies compared to a prop. Nice looking bird! 👍
@@bigbristv Lol sorry bro, totally not my intention. Jets are kinda simple, but complicated.. basically, an EDF is more forgiving than a true turbine engine
They call them jets for a reason bud there fast.😂 Good luck . I don't think the reverse thrust is for in the air I think It can be used on the ground only to slow down the rolling speed. . I think you skipped a few steps but again good luck and keep up the great work
You are so fun dude! Love watching your excitement, it’s like hearing my own thoughts when driving these great RC cars!! What model is your DumboRC remote?
If i can give you any tips based on my experiences, get a flight simulator such as RealFlight Evolution. Saves you tons of money from crashes and its surprisingly spot on to the real thing. You wont regret it
Flying rc planes is a great hobby and it sounds like youve got the bug lol. I been flying rc planes for a couple years now. 10 planes, many crashes and who knows exactly how much money ive sunk into the hobby im still going strong with no end in sight! Happy flying my brother
Yep get yourself an edge tx or open tx transmitter and keep your spectrum When I buy any micro volentex echine etc I don't even touch the pure trash transmitters that come in the box Have fun nice plane
Destroyed my first one too...I quickly went back to rc cars and trucks .still have a rc plane tho havent got the courage yet to break it..both are cheap echines... bought a second obliviously after obliterated the first
That's pretty damn good for a first time pilot. I've seen a lot worse. Talking about myself. You do need a lot more room then a baseball field to fly those awesome jets. Practice on the other ones first. Make sure you got the landing on check before you go with the jet. You got a new sub. Thanks for sharing.
I find it really cool you took your time to read all the comments 😄. Also I’ve never seen someone new to this hobby that proceeds to spend around $1000 on it and crashed two planes 😂
It's hard to resist the whole hangar of them...and...now that I got the XK A280 Mustang (and Eflite UMX Air Tractor...and Carbon Cub S2) I'm finding it hard to mess with the little ones. I've had to replace a number of servos from these and now that you've flown that Mustang you got I'll bet you'll find the same thing. Keep up the vids...subscribed!
@@bigbristv i gett that for sure...paid $95...and of course a week later Banggood dropped it even further. I watch RC crash vids of expensive airplanes to keep me away from THAT drug!
whats your light? my light is so close to the water level my aquatic plants are super happy but the pothos and basket plant on the rim aren't quite as happy, but yours seems to be a bit taller and stronger than mine
Yeah! Another plane survived keep it up. You will get there. Just keep trying. One hint on landing that kinda helped me . Cut your power early and fly the plane down if you get screwy you can always hit the gas and come round again. By cutting the power early you minimize the damage everything is happening a bit slower . Also don't forget to flair right as wheels come down you should try to get the gear down and then as you slow the tail wheel will make contact. Again keep it up 😁
In my experience, the smaller planes are significantly harder to land given how squirrely they are. Something that greatly improved my flying was the computer simulator. It’s honestly amazing how much it’s helped.
I'm on my second 14B. Great cars but they have their fair share of issues. I've had problems with spur gears and the internal plastic diff gears failing. Associated really need to put out an option for all metal gears and fixed motor plates like the Arrma Grom models. They have optional external metal gears for the F/R diffs which are completely unnecessary. Clearly they don't listen to feedback.
I bought one of these it lasted 5 seconds it was never set up correctly even though i went through it deligently, total bull advertising. Get a drone with GPS pay good money and you won't get CRAP
Sometimes you get a bad one, especially if it's a knockoff. Then there's the vague instructions. I've learned that some of these need specific calibration of the gyro in order for them to function as intended. Sorry you lost yours.
