I remember singing this with my collage choir freshman year, this song got me through a terrible time and i remember weeping in rehearsals whenever we sang this song because the music spoke to my soul. This is true worship, and when I managed to compose myself to sing again my director gave me the descant, my first solo in college. Beautiful work, makes me tear up to this day.

I heard this sung at 11AM mass at Sacred Heart parish in Lombard, Illinois. This blew me away. It made me tear up. I love this music and what it says. God bless the composer. The music directory was Daniel Pollack. The choir was amazing. The reverberation off of the hard walls of that beautiful church was stunning.

As I understand it, this piece was commissioned for a Catholic university choir, in their efforts to further the National Eucharistic Revival in 2022-2024. Music like this does such a perfect job at making the mystery of the Eucharist just as tangible and clear as it is unfathomable. These harmonies truly make the text come to life, and make the reality of this "Sacred Banquet" knowable to all who hear it. On behalf the 'sacred music world' and the Church at large, I give a huge THANK YOU to Philip and to Capella at UMary for this outstanding, heart-melting, beautiful piece of art.

A fine journey through time and history. Fascinating to hear Brian’s opinion that part of Rolls-Royce’s decline began with the Silver Shadow production from 1965 when coachbuilding declined. Interesting now that the majority of new Rolls-Royce’s built are at least heavily customised, with the top end cars totally customised and, er, therefore coach built..if you have the money you can still specify and buy the best car in the world.
