Nice 👍, what idle needles size did you use? I running the airbox no filter - straight pipes so running lean only on choke to boot .. kinda stumped 🤔 “ originals “ where 40 I’m up to 48 with 3 turns out.
I have a Ruger P90 .45 ACP & I bought it new in 1994 & I've had it ever since. I just added some Hogue grips on it that I should've done years ago. I want the Ruger SR 1911 now just bc I'm a big fan of 1911's. I hope I can find one for a good deal.
The turn signals you have on that bike are they LEDs. And if so how did you wire them, did you have to use a regulator or anything. I have a 07 Honda shadow spirt and I’m have trouble with LEDs for the back signals they only half light up. I’ve only changed the stock fuse to an LED one. But still having issues.
IM ABOUT TO BUY 1 JUST LIKE THAT BUT I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MOTORCYCLES HE SENT ME A VIDEO AND IT SOUNDS GOOD HE SAID IT RUNS GOOD BUT WHEN YOU GO REALLY FAST IT START CHOKING AND THE STARTER SWITCH IS TRIPPING , HOW DO IKNOW THE MOTOR IS GOOD?
Did you have trouble with the side stand hitting the tip of the exhaust? If so, what did you do about it? I did pretty much the same thing with my pipes (stock headers with chrome tips welded onto them) and the tip of my side stand doesn't clear. I'm thinking about removing the center stand and relocating the side stand a little further back.
hey people i have a honda vt750 1983-85 and i need starter....i found from ebay starter of a 1984-87 Honda Shadow VT700C Starter does it fit on mine? thx
I don't know if he's still replying on here, but I did pretty much the same thing on my bike and it's basically just the stock pipes with the mufflers removed and chrome exhaust tips welding in their place. Plus the black heat wrap of course. The problem on mine is that the side stand doesn't clear the left exhaust tip, so it can't go up all the way right now. I'm going to have to figure out a way to modify it. I noticed that his tips are at a slightly different angle than mine, so maybe he didn't have the same problem. Mine are angle a toward the ground a little more.
I envy your build and like most of the other comments on this video I also have a 83 750 Shadow. I was wondering, during your bobbing process did you keep the auxiliary tank, and where did you relocate the IC Ignitors? I could really use your help, thanks.
I have several uses for all my firearms that range from hunting, protection and recreational. My whole family loves to go to the range and fellowship with other firearm enthusiasts. My oldest son joined the Navy and received expert marksmanship due to his experience growing up using firearms. Teach your child to respect and be responsible with firearms instead of fear and ignorance. Obama this morning is going to make some executive decisions about gun laws. We the law abiding citizens do not need more restrictions. What Obama needs to do is enforce the laws and regulations already on the books and severely punish those who break them. Our legal system is broken a revolving door for violent criminals who are never punished to the full extent of the law. President wants to ban or regulate firearms but have a legal system who will not punish or enforce them. How does that make any sense?
Today at church I was talking to one of the older guys, I'm 56, and I knew he had a gun collection cause we talked about it before. So I told him I would stop by his place this afternoon and check out some of his collection. About a year ago he told me that he had an older AR15 but I never got around to getting over to his place. So I brought my cleaning kit with me cause he said he hadn't looked at his collection for a while and he brings out this 20 inch AR 15 with an A2 receiver and plastic old-style hand guards. It was brand-new never fired and I look on the side and it says "Eagle Arms Coal Valley, IL". He wasn't familiar with its disassembly so I showed him how to field strip and clean it. Man it was a nice rifle, looked almost vintage compared to what they make today. I'm really glad that he showed it to me.
Coil packs are under the tank I would not try and relocate them. If you are referring to under the seat I zip tied them down then cut rubber inner tube and covered electronics and zip tied to tubes.
Hey ShadyNH, I will dig mine out of the old gun safe and see if I too am close to the 3600 range. And @John Nuss My research has led me to believe the Rock River Brothers (Mark & Chuck Larson) after parting ways with Les Baer when building custom 1911 pistols were building AR 15's for Eagle Arms from 1993 in COAL VALLEY IL until sold to Armalite and moved to Geneseo IL in 1997. Then the Brothers started building AR 15 's as Rock River and a short run of custom 1911's. The Larson Brothers are well known armorers with brother Mark being HEAD Armorer for Springfield Armory for over a decade before teaming up with Les Baer, then building Eagle Arms AR's for 4 years then Rock River AR's to present.
Wow yours looks great. I have a berry wine 85 750 Stock with 33k runs great. I'm looking at picking up an 83 750 that has electrical issues (starter) and doing what you did.
I have a Pre Ban Eagle Arms EA 15 with a low 4 digit serial # under 4 thousand if I recall. I will NOT part with it, as although the BAN is "over" it does matter to other states which impose their own unfair BAN rules. Oh it's a Coal Valley Illinois as was built by Eagle Arms as after the sale to Armalite they moved production to Geneseo Illinois and Armalite mark them as such with the Division of.....Hang on to it man.
have the same gun, works great. I have one questions for you thou ... Do you know if it can shoot slugs? I trying to find out all i can about the gun. thanks, Tomy
