Now that's freaky. I've was going through a Vince DiCola obsession phase (that and Uylsses 31) and was looking to see had anyone done a bass tab or cover of this. Turns out that the bass being used in this video is identical to mine, albeit mine is black. Two cool birds with one stone. Thanks Issac.
I haven't been able to post anything lately, due to new work and life arrangements, but this cover took me a long time to prepare for, and it's such an obscure tune that it largely went unnoticed on the internet....so your comment is really greatly appreciated!
Ergonomically, it's one of the most fun basses I own - the light weight and headless design has zero neck dive and almost no fatigue when slinging it over long sets, and I specced it with 12" radius, which I find really comfortable for my hand. I didn't get along too well with the stock electronics, as I found them a bit too sterile for my liking, so the pickups were swapped out for custom Nordstrand ones, while the preamp was swapped out for a Sadowsky pre with passive master tone control. The only issue I encountered with it was due to me overtightening the B string on my very first string change, which damaged the locking threads on the headpiece of the bass - this was entirely my fault. Just be careful with tightening the locking screw at the headpiece, and you should get the hang of it after awhile.

This is the best bass song ever! Gorgeous rendition. You sound so good in the mix too. Only a little louder than the original, and the bass is so prominent in this song that it sounds completely right
@@LucianoFortea7 if you're referring to the first note of the key change, it should be a Bb from what I see in the video (I have not played this since uploading the video)
