The name thing seems weird to me. A calendar app and a game are not at all the same sort of products, and so a copyright complaint for that would absolutely not go through. Steam wouldn't even question it, they would just straight up refuse. The timing is also way too perfect.
I LOVE this series. My PS4 stopped working not long after i beat ragnarok shortly after its release, before NG+ Which i was EAGERLY awaiting. I came here looking for a hellblade 2 review but noticed this, had never heard of this before. I cant afford it right now but first chance i get im buying a new PS so i can play my NG+ and this sweet new dlc.
I know it's too late, but I wish people would stop quoting in-game hour counts, when it's often not known how these timers work and what they really display. Howlongtobeat is usually more on the short side and for Main & Extras it's 14-25 hours.
My first souls like game was Sekiro. That game really broke me mentally and god damn it was especially brutal at first until I got more of a hang of things, but I thought that game was amazing and quite fun once you get decent. Right now I'm playing Bloodborne, I'm like right at the end of the game almost....Gehrman(or whatever his name is) awaits, but I haven't even attempted to fight him yet. Was messing around in a few of the chalice dungeons first. Anyways I've seen so much about Elden Ring I finally decided that I had to have it lol I already ordered it and it should be here in about a week. I do love Bloodborne and need to finish it real quick but god damn I'm excited to get my hands on Elden Ring. I already know I'm gonna love it.
Does anyone wants a Senua Saga: Hellblade tv series? Well, I want! I think its a compelling narrative to make it into a tv series and fleshing out more of Senua as a character
You missed this one, dude. As a player of BOTH NA and SB...you were way too deep in your feelings playing your rushed version to get through the game to get a deep feeling review out....that you literally missed a great game had you stopped comparing it every 5 seconds to Nier. Also...your shitty playthroughs of games is becoming obvious.
What? Sony might not be as big as Microsoft but it certainly isn't just a videogame company, it is one of the biggest electronics companies first and foremost that also happens to make videogames, so hell yeah they could certainly draw water from that well if they are in trouble. They're mammoth. It isn't like "Oh poor Sony is always struggling" They have been leading the videogame industry since I have memory and honestly although they aren't reaching their profit margins that is just nowhere near being in serious trouble, far from it.
Imagine being mad at someone for traveling for their job. FFS don't apologize for that, don't explain, don't even recognize the complaints, tell thouse stupid reddit losers to touch grass and move on.
This makes me want to play a straight forward strategy game with this style and these characters. Take away the stupid self-insert main character stuff and just let the characters naturally interact with each other.
Star Control II might be the greatest video game ever made. If you like games, play it and understand. The fact that Ford and Reiche are finally making a true sequel is gaming news of the highest import. It isn't breaking news, as they've been working on it for a while, but it deserves more than a blurb, and the fact that it has basically no hype is truly tragic. No game has been more of a labor of love than SC2. The devs actually ran out of money before it was done and spent months working on it out of pocket for someone else to publish (Accolade). I guarantee this upcoming game is being made with the same heart. Give the Retronauts episode about it a listen to get a sense of how much it is beloved by those who have played it.
Coming to this game for the first time 7 years after its release. While I really enjoyed the music and narrative, I can’t help but think this game would have been really amazing if it was a condensed 12-15 hour experience. Half of the 35ish hours were spent running through the same areas over and over doing fetch quests for inconsequential rewards and trying to figure out how to navigate to the tiny red dot using the awful map. The bloated over world really took a toll on the graphics and performance and forced them to copy and paste the same low res assets and textures. Also playing on PS5, the game crashed on me at least 25 times. Despite that, it was still a great overall experience, especially the last 5 hours where everything comes to a crescendo. I’d love to see a full remake of this game but with the opposite treatment of FF7. Strip out all the padding and boil it down to its core narrative and you’re in for an amazing experience.
Honestly, I disagree with Yahtzee; I’d rather have a thousand bland games than any more average “free-to-wait” mobile games. But neither are good, so I’m not going to argue too much with him.
The fact that even game devs and producers are now taking loved franchises with a lot of history and pandering to certain groups of people rather than the fans that pay for these games is just sick to me. These big entertainment companies think that they can slap two women as the sole attraction of the game, make an absolute shit game with bugs galore, throw in micro transactions and then honestly think that’s how they’ll make more money. It’s so stupid even from a business standpoint. They could’ve made a stand alone game not tied to Wolfenstein with two female leads and it woulda been just fine. The bastardization and corruption of these cemented stories in games, tv, and film are absolutely sickening. I don’t mind watching/playing games and movies that have anything other than a straight white male. Some games I truly enjoy like Horizon. It’s when you take something that is already been known and people know the feel of something but then change it to something stupid.
I was never a big AC. I just got this game with all the DLC very cheap on psn and I gotta say I'm loving this. Maybe because I haven't played a lot of the AC games but I'm really enjoying it.
18:12 *uHm AcKsHuAlLy* from recent memory he was a playable character in Samurai Warriors 5. But to be fair nobody plays any of the Warriors games nowadays, Koei Tecmo fumbled the ball hard with recent releases so it's quite understandable.
I honestly think that Supergiant Games is the most talented studio working today. And I very much include From Software, SantaMonica etc in that statement. They really stand on the very top of the mountain when it comes to creativity and polish in video games.
