The craziest part is that right now I am more interested in getting into this business. It seems like there are a lot of challenges to go through. Not to mention that I am passionate about off-roading. Do you have any advice if I am planning to start a rental business with guided tours? I would be interested to hear some.
Kenda Klever M/T on my truck love them. Although i've ran mine for a LOT LONGER than necessary. Years. Theyre done but its a quick trip truck . They all hold air and sat for long periods without moving and spent atleast a year sititng in 100+ summers and low 40s winters.**^ I do use it atleast once a week to run down to the store and keep her runnig. I highly recommend Kenda Klever M/T tires.
Crazy helpful post mortem for my bike after taking it to a shop and didn't fix the problem. Saved my $250 from buying a new throttle sensor. Thank you!
Just an fyi mine would only run In low on limp mode with no high at all. Park and other gears worked perfect. Changed it out it was broke. Ask of right now it works great. Thank you for the vedio. Mines a 2018 rzr 900
Love the look of those Kenda RTs on your Ram. I think for my Gladiator, the Kanati Trail Hog will be the ticket though. I get a lot of snow in my neck of the woods and don’t put a whole lot of miles on my truck so wear isn’t too much of a concern. Side note that you may already be aware of: Your front passenger spring looks very bowed as if your control arm is too long. Thanks for the thorough video!
I'm gonna try this when I get home. I washed my machine with a garden hose yesterday and when in neutral I idle at 1500 RPMs and then as soon as I put it in gear it'll raise itself up to 2k RPM even when I'm not on the gas and it's impossible to shift unless I turn the machine off. Not really happy about the fact that a sxs can't stand up to a wash with a garden hose to be perfectly honest.
Thank you for your response, one more question. Where's a good place to acquire the system. I have found a few places on line but I'm not sure how trustworthy they are, any distributor you recommend? Thank you.
Thanks for the rundown on those tires. I live just a bit south of you and have similar terrain that I run with my Jeep JL. I look forward to your feedback on the Mickey Thompsons as I've heard good things about them too. I would like to try the Kenda Klever MT2's but I'm concerned about their winter performance. I heard they are sketchy on packed snow.
I went here two years ago, drove a Can-Am and we had a blast that the kids will never forget! I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a Polaris like this though
Just done this fix on mine and the gear selection doesnt want act right now could it possibly be off one tooth on line up ? Otherwise it seems to shift like butter now
Why on earth is your Kawasaki Logos backwards? That is pretty bazaar. The banging noise you are hearing is the Shock crossovers and from what I understand all of them do it. Mine is a 2020 2-seater and it does it. According to Kawasaki, this is not an issue. I have to admit that it is pretty odd Though. I've often thought that the entire reason that the tender springs on some models like Polaris are completely collapsed to prevent this from happening.
Just looked up anything to helpe figure out why my 2018 new to me 1KTS will not engage into H gear. All other gears are working as normal. My question is..before I open the area you showed in tgis video im wondering is it possible that that roller is broken or ? If machine goes into all the other gears ok im assuming that the roller is possibly ok. Mmm..? .one last question: : since I got this bike Ive noticed how intense the engine clutch braking is and I mean its so bad the even w feathering brake and accelerator together it is very difficult to keep the bike from smoothly coming to a stop or just a slow down. Is this normal on these 2018 1k TS? Thanks
Yep, you have a couple major issues going on. First, the high gear inside your transmission and / or the engagement dog is worn. I've seen this quite often. You're going to need to replace those parts, which means you have to pull the transmission. Second, the main bearing in your primary clutch is shot. This means you will have to completely tear down your primary clutch. It's going to need buttons, washer, main bearing, and probably roller pins, and maybe even weighs. (I'd do a complete rebuild). You're looking at some serious coin if you have someone else do this work. Parts might only cost $500. But paying someone for the labor will set you back another $1500 to $2000. Sorry for the bad news. But hey, I'm not there to witness any of this myself, so get an in-person opinion from someone with knowledge on Polaris machines.
The trail hogs, im building out a gladiator ecodiesel in hopes to get the kids out west do some trails and remote camping, some crawling.. would these be a bad tire to try (im in wisconsin so 80% of the tire will be drive to work) I got the lift ordered im just on the fence between the trail hogs vs a name brand, nitto etc.
Thanks for the video .. Got a 2024 XP 1000 4 sport ..no frills in the cab but mofo-❤go-goes on the trails and light sand allll day. I love it, but it's nice to have the backup vote of confidence from somebody that rides these things hard all the time
I have a lifted cherokee xj on 35s. I live in Denver and I am looking at getting a set of Kendas but I was wondering what your thoughts are on which is better the kenda RT or MT
They're both great. Obviously the MT's will have a little more road noise and are more agressive. They both last a good amount of time. I'm pretty impressed by both. The MT's aren't the greatest in hard pack snow, then again, what is really?
@madisonhitch thanks for the reply. I'm assuming these perform better on the highway than the MTs but how do the kenda RTs perform on the roads here in Colorado when it snows? I'll probably have to use four high regardless but some extra traction would sure be nice especially going up into the Mountains in the winter when the roads are slick
@@LetsGoHeat305BFG just came out with the new KM3 all terrain which is a much improved version over the KM2. You will have to check on your size though as they are rolling all the sizes out in the next couple of years. If they do have your size I would highly recommend them. Second choice would be the new Goodyear Duratrack kevlar with a close third to the Kenda RT.
I'm currently running the km3 mts 35s on 15" rims but their discontinued in my size I like the new km3 ats but the smallest size they come in for 35 is a 17" rim. My buddy has the baja boss ats I'm super impressed with its grip last time it snowed we were trying to have fun in an empty parking lot and they would not slide at all when he would try to fish tail it blew my mind probably the best all around tire on the market
