Hi everyone, I am having some issues with expanding the portrait generator for the game. In other words, I want to create unique portraits for each general, but the game only uses a common image for them. I've tried modifying it, and it only changes the portrait outside the game, but once I enter the game, it reverts to the default image. Here's what I did: First, I created an art_set_id. For example, to create a unique portrait for Liu Dai, I added a row with the art_set_id as 3k_art_set_historical_liu_dai_general and kept other columns the same as Liu Bei. Next, I went to campaign_character_arts_table and set the art_set_id as 3k_art_set_historical_liu_dai_general, age 16, uniform as Liu Bei, card as 3k_main_hero_special_water_liu_dai, and portrait as 3k_main_hero_special_water_liu_dai. Other columns were kept the same as Liu Bei. Finally, I went to character_generation_templates_tables, found Liu Dai, and simply changed the art set override column to 3k_main_art_set_historical_liu_dai_general. Despite these steps, the in-game portraits still revert to the default ones. I don't know if I'm missing any steps or doing something wrong. If you have any advice or know what I should do next, please let me know. If there are any mistakes, please excuse me as I am not very proficient in English.
Develop Medieval 2 Remastered with 8K textures, improved AI, UI and animations with half your staff. And then start working on the new one. The upcoming 50 series is a huge blessing. Please use this.
I thought it would be hard to make a worse ui than Rome 2 but CA proved me wrong. Most covoluted, least functional worst looking ui. Everything is competing for your attention at once. Least functional tech tree. No wonder they ended up abandoning it. It was just awful

I bought Warhammer (1, 2 and 3) and all the DLCs over the years, UNTIL Shadows of Change. Never again. I don't blame the dev's or artists at all, you do amazing work, let me emphasise that, but it sucks when that hard work is spoilt by someone at the top of your company coming up with the idea of charging so much of a DLC that's over priced (And it was broken at that). Yes I've seen the price change and additional content you added but simply not buying it until its on special, simply don't think its worth it after what happened.
1. Breakaway from GW and get control of your franchise back. 2. Listen to your customers and give them something they want. 3. Sort out your codebase/engine. 4. Test,test,test. Then release something that works.

Sent from my iPhone hello my name is Edwin as a kid when I first got my GameCube back in the game one of the make amazing game out there that I used to play a lot and enjoy and all the mechanics was the game you guys created called “ spartan total warrior “ that game brought me happiness and enjoyment and I’m sure others could agree with me too it had so many different things you can do at times and so many cool missions and it’s sad to see that you guys never consider making a remaster of of this if you do please consider maybe adding a 2player online or even just single player is fine but I just wanted to play this game again but to see how well it would be perform in the new gen! Hopefully you guys do decide to remaster spartan total warrior ! Please consider remastering it! For all console especially ps5
Worry about your games before you worry about the industry as a whole. You literally created your own market for a unique type of game and now you're forcing yourself out of it. Incredible.

I've never seen a company produce a "dev diary" style video and be successful. You're putting money and time in the wrong place. The sound of every awful manager I've ever worked with.
