I've seen a couple of JM vids playing this song and I'm sure the first 2 notes of the Smiths recording are different... In this vid he starts by playing that Gm chord 3 frets up the neck - but on the recording it begins with an open D and G string. I'm sure he knows what he's doing though 😆

He doesn't play this quite the same as on the record here does he? Is it in the same tuning? Ive always wondered what tuning is on the record. The song has such a nice flow to it.
