I hate to say this, but sometimes even Johnny Marr's guitar is out of tune...😮

There was a time when all I listened to was Louder than Bombs. Never knew who Johnny Mar was but now I see he was the man behind the music.

Useless, what’s the point you can’t see the chord changes ,typical for someone that doesn’t understand how to play.

Johnny is the biggest ‘Scarface’ fan I’ve ever seen. Upon watching it ( as late as…1995 ? ), he immediately hacked his locks into a good approximation of Tony Montana’s. And has kicked & screamed on the floor, ever since, when the missus tentatively suggested moving on…

I've seen a couple of JM vids playing this song and I'm sure the first 2 notes of the Smiths recording are different... In this vid he starts by playing that Gm chord 3 frets up the neck - but on the recording it begins with an open D and G string. I'm sure he knows what he's doing though 😆

Bro really wrote the greatest guitar riff of all time just for Morrisey to ruin it with the shittiest lyrics of all time 💀

Some of the most bell-like, emotional music ever penned...takes me back to when I lived in Sydney, '86, listening to this on C A S S E T T E, in my W A L K M A N ( - google it, kids....) Also totally unique sound, the way his influences come together Love how black t shirt bloke's left hand is hanging weirdly in his rapt mesmerization ~00:56 >>

He doesn't play this quite the same as on the record here does he? Is it in the same tuning? Ive always wondered what tuning is on the record. The song has such a nice flow to it.
