Before this movie was approved, there was another film in consideration set in Incan times, but it was eventually dropped to work on this. It was supposed to have an Incan setting for an adaptation of The Prince And The Pauper with David Spade as the prince and Owen Wilson as the pauper. It was supposedly called Empire Of The Sun. I thought that idea was interesting. What do y'all think?
@TwoFreckledFriends hope you like it, personally I liked all three movies but for different reasons, the first was because of the under dog story, second one for different reasons I won't get into so I don't spoil anything. Last one like most 3rd movies isn't nearly as good in my opinion but I still enjoyed it, especially after a couple bowls. Lol
Coon rapids is a town in Minnesota that was technically named after the settlement hunting raccoons in the area. Though they have had multiple discussions about changing the name because of the racial connotations
I kept thinking that was Kristen Stewart the entire time! 😂 and I’ve never watched this movie before because I thought it’s kind of a chick flick. Now I regret not watching it. I had no idea Jeff Bridges was in this. 😮

The half freckle was us internally joking about the current economic situation as this theme carries over in various TFF episodes (Richie Rich/Blank Check/The Flintstones to name a few). The Sandlot has things some (not all) millennials aspire to - families, home ownership, nice cars, kids running around outside not drowning in student loan debt, etc. An overall good quality of life if that makes sense. We love all freckles here and we'll add Hook to the list of comment suggestions.

This is definitely my favorite Jim Carrey movie, there’s so many quotable lines. Plus, fun fact, it is a deviation from the original comic because in the comic the mask was a killer.
