I was so sad I was bawling for hours like, Emma did so much and had a heart of diamonds and gold and especially bedrock because she’s was such a loving person with endless love that she gave everything she had for others. She believed the people that were trying to feed her to demons were good. And that demons were. And she had hope for everyone and everything. She would put herself before everything else. The most selfless person ever. And to know or be someone like her needs an award bigger then anyone couldn’t even imagine. Because Emma fought so hard and loved so many people. She was willing to give her life for others. She was willing to give up everything she knew just for others. Because Emma is the best person ever. That’s why so many people looked so hard for her and loved her, is because she did so much. And she did so much that there is no way to ever equally repay her. Emma made me so emotional that she made me a better person through paper. In thought of Emma, forever our leader.
I wish ray did not have to go through this pain and life that he knew before him. He was only a child and had to go through so much, and I can't feel bad enough about the stuff he went through
Everything about the manga from the start to the finish was perfect except the last 3 chapters, why ruining a masterpiece with an ending like that ,Emma didn't deserve this ,they could all have lived happily together with Emma ,that would have been the perfect ending
But that's it. Not everything can ever be perfect. Emma did want her idealistic views, not wanting to make sacrifices and killing demons too, but through the adventure, she had to because of kill or be killed. She had to accept that this price is alright for her, even knowing her ideal future in the human world will never come true; she will lose all her memories from them. That she knows they won't agree to it, but some of their situations were caused by her ideals. It is not the perfect ideal reality that they will have, but with the separation of the human and demon race permanently, the humans and demons can live without causing the cycle of conflict between their races. Human desires always aim for "perfect" and "ideal" visions, but those are simply just visions. And Emma having to accept this price... She has changed from her idealistic nature to accept some parts of reality. A sacrifice she knows it's unfair, and will never know them again...
I'm not sure, but I think I prefer the anime ending a bit more, this one just feels so very sad, even though it still has elements of happiness. The anime definitely could have been better, it could have done another season with more episodes on what Emma and the others did when they stayed behind, but they were still able to save everyone and achieve their goal, and go home to reunite with their family without any sacrifices and that's all that matters I think
The music was perfect for this!!! Ray is THE BEST character!! And another thing is, when they were all escaping, and Ray was imagining Norman talking to him, Norman tells him he doesn't have to give up. He means Ray doesn't have to give up hope and the fantasy of saving his entire family. Such an amazing character!!!
@@Psycho-Thinker in my opinion he should have sacrificed himself as for redemption instead of the so called "let's all live together" asspull, the author was intending to make him die in the flames but the editor refused so calling it dark. And this is not the only time they changed something in the tpn storyline due to the editor's personal feelings. Not to mention that they made Norman literally copy Ray's plan here and paste it there but without Ray dying and everyone called it "Norman's plan", bruh of course he'll disappear later on in the story after this decision of erasing everything he prepared for 6 years!!!! Personally I think that TPN would have progressed WAY better if the author sticked to his own plans when it comes to Ray's character specifically. And the beginning of the manga was VERY smart, but it started going down after the house arc, I'm not saying it's bad but there was a possibility of it not ending up so meh if it took another course of actions
@@somefamousunknown4549 Literally after Goldy Pond arc Norman became the protagonist his back got hurt from carrying all the manga by himself I thought we will see Ray vs Isabella confrontation or at least Krone’s letter that would give Ray the spotlight but unfortunately NO
@@Psycho-Thinker I was upset they never mentioned what was on that letter since he called it a "juicy morsel", it must be that he knew something handy and left it to trick krone knowing that she'd use it but then got surprised that Isabella disposed of krone on her own.
I know right!!! But the original idea was for Ray to die, so maybe the kind of rushed it. But they should keep like a couple of chapters for individual character development. Like the stroy focuses on Norman and Emma, but they need to show characters like Ray, Don, Gilda, Anna & Nat. But that's just me
Me: OK in the anime the others cared for emma but..what about ray? Just depressed in the library...I was like: THIS b*tch really is good with masking things-_-. Welp time to slap myself
people don't like this ending, but i loved it , it really showed the price these kids willing to take to get out of the demon place since emma is the one getting them out it's poetic she's the one that can't enjoy the rewards of it but knowing they are safe ,they really should've let emma lost her memories forever and the kid kept visiting her trying to make her remember and make new memories accidentally
I love this ending, like another guy said in this comment section, its a bitter sweet ending, and I think it was the best the author could do imo. Now, 2 years since this finally ended, last night I finished re reading the manga, as I had bought the last 6 volumes to complete the series, and that night, a terrible theory came into my mind: If Emma rewrote the Promise, which was made 1000 years ago, could a random demon go in the 7 walls, and make a new one, and somehow send all the humans that were born in demons worlds back there? Just imagine, all they did and and hard worked, just disappear bc of a random in the other worlds part, and this time, there are no Ratris, none will make sure ppl will fulfill the promise 💀 If Emma could rewrite Julius promise, anyone could rewrite Emmas one, just think bout it. Maybe Lewis, who basically gave all important political stuff to Mujika, Sonyu and the ancient temple men just to disappear again, and bc of that, Ive rn thought of another theory, what if he is protecting the 7 walls, and not letting anyone in? Well, its not a physical place, so maybe he protecting the golden water spots so anyone can use it to do the random stuff with blood, vida flower, moonlight and that water so the worls stays the same, as hes pleased with the current demon world? But he will die someday, he would have to pass the role to another powerful person/group of persons, and those could betray Lewis, or... I dont know, so many posibilties for the promise to be rewritten, and for the children to go back there, 5 mins ago thought Lewis was the key to achieve this, well i now think hes absolutely not. For the people who got past all this shitty theory, thanks, ik none would normally do that, so Im aware I may have written this for no one but myself, but I hesitate that so much, within some months from now on, another bro from the tpn gang, where everyone is addicted to tpn, will for sure have read this, looking forward to hearing from you dear reader and tpn gang bro, I think ill never be coming up with a consistent theory, as we have no info, just the imagination power, unless Kaiu Shirai drops an extra chapter related to the promise protection (which I also hesitate, as there are so many interesting stuff to explain better, if you thin abt it, all extra chapters have smth in common: They explain better things the author couldnt explain in main manga history, as shonen jump magazine made him rush the history and end it within a limited number of chapters, so explaining something about the promise is also possible, just unlikely, and special chapters are taking ages to be released, anyway, Kaiu Shirai said now, in 6th TPN aniversary, more of those chapters will come out, so thats good I guess) So you, person who made it to this part of the theory, tell me your thoughts, I love you for making it so far and bear all this stupid stuff I said in a language that isnt even my native one the, it was the best I could do, well actually wrote without thinking a single thing, just fast typed what I thought, I think it was pretty understandable anyway. So yep, Im gonna say bye for 4th time you dear reader, bye. (Or I may say that for a 5th uhm nah I stop nothing more to say) Ill reply to that person in a fee months probably, looking forward to it
Conny was the one who got Ray’s attention. That bit made me cry. Her death was the one that started it all, and she was the one to bring them back together x
My idea for Emma to get her memory back: make her read the manga so she'll have a whole new memory in her head but it's the same since she only needs to know what we know
A thoughtfully and artfully edited tribute to Ray's story! The music and timing for each frame cultivated an engaging atmosphere that successfully drew me into the world and Ray's mind in particular. I imagine I'll rewatch this often-- thank you so much for your time, your effort, and your vision!
15:10 This is beautiful Its perfect that Norman is the one to offer her to live with them as Emma many times has asked him to live with her and her family (volume 18) plus what was it that Norman told Emma when they found out the secret of the orphanage? And what was it they said when they were trying to make Norman escape? *"We'll survive and live together, all of us"* .
