Welcome to my channel. I cover information on supercars from owning, driving, and working on them. Thank you for visiting, and please subscribe if you like the content.
I needed this video. New nsx owner and thank you for taking your time on making this video. For the window regulator, is that problem on the na1 only? I have an na2 . Cheers 🍻
I really like the content of your videos, very thorough and super informative. The NSX has always been my dream car since the 90s. They have doubled in price but still today, over 30 years later it’s such an iconic car.
So I think you said in the video you can test it out by just removing the center driveshaft and keep the front axles and front diff in place? If so I may do that with mine...and if I like it, remove the front components and buy the stub kit
Great video! You rarely see the 955 cayenne anymore! Still looks awesome! Well done! Maybe some hubcentric spacers to push the wheels out just a bit more..
Wow never thought Inwould see this car alive again! Palmdale Battle of the Import days hell yeah! Did you ever get to run Abel in Flacco back in the day? You guys both became legends back in the 90s! Glad I found your channel while I was looking up Porsche content! Rotary enthusiast still tinkering w the 13B in 2024!
Mobil 1 has just 10 percent of PAO, Ravenol on the other side has around 70-80 percent of PAO! Stil thinking the same? I have the Ravenol VMP 5w30, after 10 miles the oil ist stil amazing!
I'm doing this right now, so it's very helpful! and boy, you weren't kidding. those bolts are hella stuck on there. anyways thanks for the content, threw you a sub! hope you're still doing gallardo stuff despite this video being 2 years old
1 year fast forward. I did not get the Type-S, I was disappointed 😥 but not the end of the world. I bought a regular NSX. But, I have no desire to convert just to look like Type-S because it's not a Type-S. The best modification I did was, by cutting the two mufflers out (delete the quite valves too) and simply weld a stainless pipe. I lessen the heat in the trunk and hear beautiful sounds. Shaved 25 pounds of weight and cost me nothing except my labor.
"Sorry, Honey. I'll be gone for bit because I'm trying to save us all some money by driving each of these cars from Point A to Point B... you know how it is. ;)"
P.S. Not scoring much now-a-days, either... don't call-out the wife on Social Media, for your benefit, though. She's just as attractive as my wife, let's appreciate them for who they are... our best friends. ;)... sexy stuff is something we all have to work on. Also, your kid is doing much better than our cats at skiing! :D
This guy is a very genuine person. I met him a day or two before Nopi nationals 1998 or 1999 I don’t quite remember but he was either unloading or changing wheels at Atlanta speedway and he had one of the cleanest gen 2 integra I believe a gsr so 92 93 and the rare thing is that he didn’t have tinted windows. Anyway we introduced ourselves he just said his name was Adam and we went about are ways and then Saturday came and my friend and I were walking the garage area where the vendors were and all of a sudden we hear are names from a familiar voice and it was Adam called us back to the nitto booth. He said he wanted to thank us again. He stopped signing autographs for hundreds of people that just helped him. If we would of known or recognized him we would have fanboyed for sure. All I say Adam is one of the most genuine people I have ever met on my journeys just a good dude and wish him much success. Do you still have that integra man it was clean
This is an old post, pre pandemic. But I'll take a shot. I own a Spa Yellow 97, since 97. You said something the interested and confused me. The timing belt. Like you I've changed mine more than a few times on time not milage. I'm at 69k and had it last changed four years ago. How long you think I can go from here before I need to do it again. Besides what you said getting a good person to do it, is the cost, it keeps going up.
great story with HKS. thats how early the days were. you can actually just go to SEMA, meet them and get a dealer account. something like that requires a huge buy in and monthly minimum now. they wont even talk to you if you dont have a huge warehouse. im kind of jealous of guys in your generation. yeah there was hard parts but the industry was definitely in your favor. you guys got in right when these companies started arriving and the internet was in its infancy. people had to go to retail stores to buy parts. lots of them were charging msrp and making everybody wait. they acted like big shots thinking it was going to last forever. and it could have but turns out most of them closed their shops due to them being young and reckless. they could have rode the internet wave early and made tons of loot. especially after fast and furious hit big and the whole country wanted imports. id say 90 percent of the shops in LA closed down since the 90s. anways, random ass thoughts
Great info. I'm taking your advice on the extra window regulator and the brake fluid tester. My NSX is now 26 yrs old and has never given me a serious problem. Just need to keep the preventive maintenance up to date! Thanks Adam.
Really nice 996 TwinTurbo . You’ve got a lot of expensive upgrades, though I must say, good for you. I Purchased, my 2003 about four or five months ago , in June and it had some nice GT 2 mods Anyway, just wanted to say you got a nice Porsche
Love your video's man. In my mid 20's a had a FB 1984 RX7 GSL-SE I loved that car. I drove that car for years and it was so much fun to drive. I since been driving classic Honda cars like the 2nd Gen CRX, a 5th Gen 2000 Prelude and a 2004 V6 Accord but my current favorite is my 1991 NSX. The NSX is the ultimate car and I can't really compare it to anything else that I have ever driven and I used to work for a car rental company so I've driven hundreds of different cars in my lifetime. 😄
