I’m one of the 300 with you getting a Type S. I won’t be collecting this, I’ll be driving it. I’m not wealthy enough to save it for the next guy. Congrats man
@@AdamSaruwatariXtreme I ordered red, then changed to white. The dealer acted like it would be an act of god to change it. I’m not a huge fan of Acura’s colors though Maybe thermal orange would look great. I’m also a fan of yellow but not sure about Acura’s yellow. I might end up wrapping it a matte white or Pearl satin white.
Very good choices. I like all of the colors. Through dealing with my fair share of dealers, I know exactly what you mean. It sounds like you have a great plan whatever the case is, and I am sure it will be awesome!
Wow did not expected to see this man. If there's a dude who truly knows NSX it's him. I remembered reading about him and his drag NSX in Sport Compact Car in the 90's. Truly one of the legends (putting j import on the map) for a kid growing up in the 90's. RESPECT!
That is SOME access you got there Adam! The NSX Type S looks incredible. She’s going to fit right in with your collection. Thanks for taking us along through this journey to your Type S. Congrats again!
I am very fortunate to have such great friends. George and John are the key to getting the inside track on the Type S. The best part is that the Type S will hold its own with my other rides. The journey has started with a bang, so we will see what lies ahead! Take care!
Pretty cool that you got in there. I work upstairs and only go downstairs when I'm working on things that I can't talk about. The fact that you were able to get in there and see that is impressive. George is a cool guy. I wonder if anyone else knew about this little visit LOL! Awesome review :-)
Very good my friend. I am sure you see amazing things. It was an blast to see the Type S and facility. George is one of my true Buds. Don't worry. George cleared it with PR before I headed your way. 😁👍
Great video! I have a 08 tl type s that took most of my young life to save for and I’ve loved every second of it. I wish I was a little bit older into a career so I could get my hands on one of these. Type s is quality and this car looks perfect as is.
Amazing car brother. I am sure it will look great in your favorite yellow color, although this metallic grey looks awesome....looks fast even parked! Can't wait to see the OG NSX and the new one parked side by side with the X in front and center...that will make an awesome photo!!
Thanks Brother. If I did not love yellow so much, I would go with the Gotham Gray. Ot definitely has the look. That is a great idea. I will work on that when it comes!
I just realized that I am watching the ADAM Saruwatari Dude you are like my 90s Icon. I have Ed Bergenholtz signed poster on my wall next to my CRX amazing man. Your NSX you dragged back in the day. Crazy i was just talking to someone at Acura about what happened to you guys. Just bought the Tiger pearl TLX Type S and it just turns heads. The NSX is next got to make more investments but Ill get there.
Thank you Brother! I cannot speak for the other, but I am retired just doing my thing. Congrats. On your TLX Type S! That is one amazing ride! I am sure the NSX is right around the corner for you! Take care. 😁 👍
Really enjoyed the review Adam! I never really was impressed by the new generation NSX until now. Your comments on the aesthetics and carbon fiber were spot on. I'd probably be tempted to leave my car bone stock. I think cars like this will be pretty hard to mess with performance wise.
I am glad you liked the video Dr. Kunkle. The Type S is quite exciting. Your plan is much better than mine. The best/most valuable Type S will be bone stock. You know my addiction to modify cars better than anyone. 😁👍
That looks AMAZING. That is a much better design than the car launched with. The new front end REALLY works for me. Pulls the car together way more than the original front end. Color combo is perfect. Take my money... What? 300? Well carp. Will this be a the new look or is this just of the limited run?
I am glad you like the look of the Type S my friend. It is even better in person. I agree with your thoughts. Acura is going to build 350 total with 300 coming to the US. This will be the only model available as a 2022, and they are saying that they will not build any more. On the bight side, they are saying that there will be a third generation NSX. Take care!
It is sad to see the NSX production ending yet again ☹️ But that will of course make them much more rare to see out in the wild. In most of the meets and or shows I go to you will spot more Lambos and Ferraris then NSXs. Having your old school NSX for as long as you have I will be interested to see if you think the new ones have any of the spirit or feel of the originals. I hope you and the family are all doing well my friend 👍
I have not ever seen a second generation NSX on the road, so I would have to agree with you. Good observation on the Lambos and Ferraris. The NSX numbers are quite surprising when you put them in perspective. My original NSX is a hard act to beat, so we will see. I hope all is well with you and your family. Have a great weekend!
My Friend, I have gone down the road of "making the car my own" and have learned one important thing... Address problems. Style, sound and materials can wait until you and the car get to know each other. Take it slow, make it a really good relationship.
the front looks more modern thats for sure! BUT! I like the clean seemles flowing design of the non type s more! This looks like a lambo(just much more refined) and over spoilered winged like the new corvette. Spoilers and lips everywhere. Maybe it will grow on me sometime later.
Nice review! I'm not really a fan of the styling of this car but the Type S looks much better than the standard one. They really should have replaced all those gaudy chrome pieces in the interior with carbon fiber.
thanks for very good video. Acura confirmed that i will get mine sometime in the beginning of 2022, jan/feb . like yours, it will be yellow/full red leather interior. (hopefully you let me join your yellow nsx team bro 😆)
I am glad you liked the video my friend. Very cool! You are the first person I have come across that ordered a yellow Type S, other than myself. You are welcome to join my yellow NSX team Brother!
only 300 in usa, 350 total for whole world, the only and last type s nsx with hybrid engine . Top that with yellow color and special license California plate, it will be impossible to run away from cops bro 🤣. Anyway, if i lucky enough to get yellow nsx before you, i could hit you up if you want to check out the color and the drive. Disneyland Anaheim Area.
once in last 20 years 😆, will do annual pass next year when my daughter hit 4 year olds and things getting easier. Never thought i would able to grab one of these special one beside my Honda Odyssey Van , definitely letting you know when i got it to see if my full red leather chair will do any good for this car compared to your cool black chair look 😃👍.
Understood my friend. I am happy that you were able to put everything together to get the Type S. I have a new appreciation for the Honda Odyssey with Natalia around. 😂😂😂 Sounds good and exciting!
@@AdamSaruwatariXtreme The car was brought to Atlanta and I bought and sold a bunch of parts off it. The current owner wrecked it. I still have the floormats from it. Why did you sell it?
@@AdamSaruwatariXtreme Awesome man, I was like 16 years old when you ran the NSX in the 7's. Good stuff, glad to see you're doing well and looking forward to more videos!
Hey beautiful car. I don't have nearly the kind of money and connections you have. Had a scion FRS Straight through 3 inch exhaust, tune 93 octane, and supercharged it with all extra cooling goodies. The engine eventually blew up. had a new one rebuilt from scratch and all together must have dumped 30k into a 26k car. went all out. Just humble advice. I would never do this again and with a special edition car like the type r it's not a measurement of you you are well above it already look at all the exotics you own and family you have it is a measurement or Acura engineering. Keep it as close to original as possible. Could be a collector's car one day. I am saving up a small portion of my inheritance outside The Estate to buy a New C8 ZO6 or ZO7 depends on market pricing etc. Want to keep this thing as original as possible only do factory/Corvette Racing upgrades if anything an certainly only N/A type performance upgrades but light stuff. want to keep it reliable. Anyway Keep it real is my best advice. you are sooo lucky to afford all these cars. piece out to you and your family. best advice.
not gonna happen! This car is the only car in the world that shares the same engine in the GT league as the street version has. So if its reliable in race condition, it should last forever in regular street use.
Anything is possible my friend. This would be a good argument for keeping the factory warranty in place. If it makes you feel any better, Honda has not heard of any engine failures.
Acura had a tendency to kill off great cars before they reach their full potential. Must be a Japanese car industry thing while European manufacturers churning out different high performance models/editions in their sleep.
