@@anthsallwonkyIt’s ok. If you’re not from there, you probably wouldn’t know how to pronounce it. I was born in Charleston in Kanawha County. It’s an Indian name.
Hello my friend 👋 This is really nice! It all looks so beautiful. Great trail with the bird calls! The terrain reminds me of hikes we did in Kentucky. Nice picnic area! Gorgeous view at the overlook 😊
@@anthsallwonky that's so amazing!! I looked into a little more in terms of solo female traveling and decided it's a bit too risky for my likes :( Glad you had amazing adventures!
@@DriftingSandMonk I do see the security concerns for a solo female. my tip was mainly to use well lit rest areas and make it seem like your not alone. i always pondered trying to put together a car camp group just for safety and fun. Mayber someday
It doesn't fit that way. What I did do was move the front passenger seat up and I could fit a milk crate in there with some pillows on top and that extended the bed length a bit.
I feel ya all the way around, wish i could make a place of my own but also having issues being in the same place for the last 8 months. do miss being out on the road.
VA is nice. I'm in the south Western part of VA. In the foothills of the Blue ridge mountains. Hope you've been well man. Where are you living these days?
@@anthsallwonky im back in cali for awhile workin on my health. We will be moving in a couple years and heading back in that area. eastern tn, western nc, north georgia, southern va area. somewhere in the hills preferably. I might get back into doing some videos im just not on the road anymore.
Thank you. I will be. I've just been working a lot lately because the job needed me and it's been quite cold so far this year. Will be doing new vids soon. Thank you for staying with me.
I've camped there before. They have some nice big open spots but there are two negatives to camping there. Absolutely no Alcohol allowed, and they enforce it. Also at night you get attacked by huge Mosquito's. I'll never go back.
I was there in the colder months so the mosquitoes weren't bad. I didn't know about the no alcohol policy but I don't really drink anyway. Thank you for watching
I enjoy your informative videos I'm currently at Dubuis how is the road condition from 98 McClelland Rd. In particular I have a motorcycle on a trailer that I use to enjoy while camping to explore this is the reason I'm asking here at Dubuis the road into the campground area is actually nice and hard packed rock and shell thank you I appreciate any information you have
I could eat clover all night long... But it tastes like chemicals. Its not bad. Its just... Cheap. But Im poor so Im used to it. Hormel isnt that much better
I scored an abandoned Corolla to use to get out through some mud slides we are having here. Planning to lift it, and get an LSD for it. Doing something to make it useable as a bed if I get stuck on the wrong side of a mud slide would be nice. How tall are you? I am 6’1”
That's pretty sweet. I am 5'6". If you are able to take out the front seat you would have more room. Hope you have some great adventures. Thanks for watching.
Just bought a Chevy express chariot conversion and taking my savings to add solar and deck it out! I thought about doing a camprolla set up, but I'm 6 foot 3! I could never rock out on the camprolla bedroom because of my height, however the camprolla living room will suit me just fine. Awesome video! Thank you for sharing!
I'm only 5'6" so it works for me. I just wanted to show people my set up and to inspire people who want to travel it can be done. Hope you have some awesome adventures. Thank you for watching.
@@anthsallwonky in regards to traveling, I think of the quote "if there is a will, there is a way!" If I make it out to Arizona I'll look you up! Have a great day, week, and month!
For this first part I only took out the one side. Later on I did open up the whole back area and also reduced the amount of stuff I had. I do have a video of that more recent set up.
Thank you for doing this video- I live in Minnesota and my mom is from Webster, South Dakota so I have been through Sisseton- if you headed south of Sisseton on I-29 you would come through Summit- then west on US hwy 12 Webster would be 23 miles from there- so your video hits home for me!
Your welcome 😁. I definitely wanted to see more of that area after being there. I am glad I took the turn off the highway. I want to see more of Minnesota too. Thank you for watching.
