After the trial, you will need to buy a license. They’ll sell both monthly and annual options. I believe if you keep using it, there is a watermark on the output. Unfortunately it’s not a free software but it’s probably still the best in my opinion and I don’t mind supporting the companies who create great tools for us.
@BenjaminDenny good day sir thank you very much for the content i just wanted to ask if its possible in my website that i can add a membership page that we can use in church using html, css as well as python prograing
This is a WordPress template which means it uses PHP since WordPress is PHP. But you could easily build your membership area using WordPress OR you could build your own python based system and just put it on a subdomain and link to it from the main site.
Would it be possible to add the cinematic bars (if you're referring to the black bars) in your Live Streaming software as on overlay. Since they are static, that may be an easier way to do it.
Hey, Thanks for the video! Do you guys use this for camp registrations as well? I've found it very clunky, and lacks the ability to select multiple ticketed items. For example; our camps are weekly, so I wouldnt be able to ticket out camps for each week and allow people to pick and choose the ones they want.
Yeah there are some serious limits. I hope they keep improving it since they just redeveloped the whole feature and this is the initial release. You may check into PlanningCenter and see if their registration options are more suitable
You can connect it to any 3rd party tithe/giving provider. Just simply add a link in the menu or a button on the page that goes to the unique URL/page they give you. You cannot process payments directly on the site (nor do you want to since it comes with a ton of security obligations). Tithely & Subsplash are 2 platforms I've used with good success.
Hello Denny, thank you for your videos they are really helpful, making it really asy to create a website. I hope to help other churchers set up their website with what ive learned. I tried using your template tutorial. Im getting an elementor license mismatch error. Can you help me resolve this? Thank you
Glad it has helped! For the Elementor mismatch error, the issue here is that the site has Elementor Pro installed. This plugin isn’t actually needed. You can deactivate it. However, if you want to use it since it adds more features to the page builder, you’ll have to purchase a license. Where are you hosting the site? If you want to host the site with me, I can actually include a license at no cost.
This is a great video. You are right, there aren't many Subsplash videos out there like this one. Would you recommend Subsplash over Planning Center? We are in the process of possibly signing up with Subsplash soon. I think the downside with PC is the app and the media feature (Which subsplash does really well). However, we would need the church management side as well. (Service planning, volunteer sign up, etc.). Do you know any alternatives?
Thank you! I totally forgot to mention those two points. For the website, it was really limited and “clunky”. We did initially use it but decided to switch back to our WordPress site and just embed the needed features (media library, online giving, etc) as shown. Part of my opinion is based on the fact I’m an advanced WordPress user. If you sign up, try the website knowing you can revert back to your existing site if you have one. On church management, it truly depends on what specific workflows you need. Planning Center is hands down better for service planning and volunteer sign up. In a way you’d expect it to be based on their name, right. ;) Subsplash has gotten better in this regard. Their new registration workflow for events and ability to print badges is very nice. I’ll be making a video soon. When we first signed up, church management was done via a 3rd party system called Fluro. They finally integrated it fully and it is better. No separate platform. Again, if you sign up, I’d try to make it work but know in the back of your mind you may fall back on Planning Center. I’ve not found a better alternative if you want mobile and TV apps. It really is where the whole platform shines. Hope this helps!
@@BenjaminDenny Another video would be great! This is very helpful. I'm going to subscribe to your channel. Also, I would love to have one platform for everything instead of taking users to various links. I've found this to be confusing for older church members. If this is the case, would you still recommend Subsplash if you could do it over?
@asherpanton, if you decide to sign up, try to negotiate a 30-day trial to get the feel of it. But I believe they will refuse. That's my best advice. We are approaching the annual renewal date and have decided not to extend the service. Grace and Peace!
Our biggest frustration is that it doesn't have a members directory feature, which is the most basic feature for any church. Planning Center has the best People management and directory feature so far, so we are considering not renewing the contract with Subsplash. If you've figured out how to get a directory working, let me know.
Yes, we’ve not found a way to create a public or even members only directory of everyone. But as far as an internal directory where church admins can see all members and their info it’s built in. Just not member facing.
Hello thank you for this help, however Elementor says that it cant find any license matching my email....after loading the template i got an "mismatching information error". Please help, thanks!
Thank you, this helped me so much to finish a site that woulda took a very long time to build from scratch. One question i have tho, how can we have the same banner background image for all the posts that admins may write? is there way to do this once for it affect all the future posts?
I am in charge of getting a website up before the end of the year of 2024. More than enough time lol but our church has a tight budget and I'm looking forward to your expertise in helping me. I was wondering though if (in the background where the picture is) could there be a video to where it can be maybe people worshipping? Would that be possible? or no. Please let me know when you can. What would be the cost for everything that you would need to get the website up and running outside of domain and hosting. Also, would I be able to change things on the site at any time if need be as the church begins to grow? Let me know what you think, thanks Anthony
Yes that is possible to make it a video. Please email me at dennysecurity@gmail.com so we can discuss further about your requirements and how I can help you get this online. It definitely won’t take a year ;)
@@BenjaminDenny Thank you so much for responding. I am going from a windows computer running Proclaim and sending to our projectors but then using hdmi to connect to the atem mini and a iMac . The iMac is connected to the atem mini as well and that is our livestream computer. I thought I could run an additional hdmi from the windows computer to the atem in a “camera” hdmi, but I’m not sure if I’m missing settings on the windows computer in computer display settings, or if that is even the proper way to send it. I only have hdmi to work with but proclaim only shows me options for NDI or SDI
The setup sounds like it should work. You have 2 outputs coming from the windows computer. I would check the display setting in windows settings and verify you’re getting 2 outputs. I don’t have experience with the Atem mini but I’m familiar with what it is. Look at this documentation and video from proclaim themselves: support.faithlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007127332-How-Do-I-Configure-My-Display-Outputs- If proclaim isn’t picking up the HDMI, that makes me think the issue is related to the windows display setting. You want to make sure it’s set to “extend” and not “mirror”. Last thought, just making sure the windows computer actually supports however many displays. You’re likely using a graphics card so just ensure this HDMI is plugged into the graphics card. There are some PCs that support 2 monitors without a graphics card. But when you need 3+ you need a graphics card. Usually you get 1 HDMI port and 3 DisplayPorts for a total of 4 outputs.
Hello Benjamin Denny, we are planning to build a site for our church. I would like to know the offer still exists. Also I would like to add different pages also to the site as well, how can this be done? Via elementor or will you help us to create it? I am not that technical. Thanks
Yes, I will still install it on A2 Hosting for you if you signup via my link. Regarding customizations, I have helped in the past when I have bandwidth. Please contact me at ben@dennyemail.com and we can talk more about what you need. I have an offer for $39/month I can help build and customize the site. This includes hosting so you wouldn't need to purchase through A2 Hosting. Thanks, Ben
Can proclaim have multiple output like propresenter? My church now using propresenter(Crack Version) for stage, audience, and livestream, And I want to try proclaim
Quick question, can I send NDI from my presentation software to another computer running OBS? I use Proclaim and I want to send the Proclaim NDI to my second Mac running OBS
@@BenjaminDenny sounds good thanks. I'm new to NDI and I hadn't seen anyone go into much detail using Proclaim. Most people only use one computer, but I'm a big fan of using multiple computers for different things, hence, my question. But thanks for answering. I'll check it out tomorrow at church. Thanks for your help
Hello, I'm using Proclaim for my church service and I was wondering if there is a way that you can have like say for instance you put a scripture up and you don't want the scripture to take up the whole screen you would still like to see the pastor or whomever is reading that scripture is there a way that this can be
@@BenjaminDenny hello, yes thank you for responding the pastor will be on screen I figured out the lower thirds and I found one that I can have a quotation on the side and still be able to see him on the screen. Your video was very helpful and help me find other things within the Proclaim program thank you so much
Hello Benjamin. We purchased a domain last week thru NameCheap as recommended by someone we thought would build our web site. That didn't work out. I appreciate you TEACHING how to do this. It is a blessing. How do you recommend we proceed to get our site up and running? Thank you!
You can still use Namecheap. A website needs two things 1. Domain name 2. Hosting For hosting, you can use A2 Hosting and if you purchase using my link in the video description then I will install the template for you. You can also use any other WordPress host. Hostinger is another popular, inexpensive host.
Many hosting providers including the ones I mentioned have a basic email product included. However I personally recommend and pay for something like Google Workspace email or Microsoft365 email as it’s more reliable. But if you’re on a tight budget, the included email hosting works.
sir i have import your website file but my wordpress password has been changed because your website file sir please you can tell me what is your migration website username and password
