Or just with ya chisel or punch tap tap locks it in the hole and doesnt fall out ,thats what we do with brand new batterys b4 we sell them even says to do so with pictures n all on the instructions with the shit about filling acid and charging

Dude I felt the same way when i got told about this. The amount of time I’ve wasted messing with batteries in horse shoe oil tanks is crazy. But not any more lol.
Really cool stuff. Used to cover electrical connections to stop them snagging and look nice. Apply heat (heat gun, lighter, soldering iron) and it shrinks in diameter.
Yea those super start batteries are crap bought 2 of em from O'Reilly & they didn't really last long, but some batteries have them where it's threaded so you don't have to worry about those small parts
