I started taking an hour walk every day in early july- no music just me enjoying the silence. It's literally the best part of my day. Since I started doing this in early july my mental and physical health has never been better.

Im the weirdo who never got rid of their dvd and cd books full of discs. Streaming is fine but they never seem to have what i want to watch. I miss the experience of only being able to afford one cd or one dvd, and really obsessing over it for ages. Now its like look at this new thing this new thing this new thing constantly and nothing ends up meaning anything
coming back from a mostly unplugged vacation gave me new motivation to unplug my daily life. i think this video's concept is a great starting point for that thank you for the inspiration
I just finished ACOMAF. What are your thoughts on Tamlin? I'm trying to look at it from his perspective, and I'm struggling with not feeling like he deserves all the hate he gets. Am I wrong? Is he really a bad guy or is he acting out of genuine "love" for Feyra, and fear for her safety?

This is a really intriguing concept. Currently my fiancée is long distance so not being on streaming is hard if we watch online together, but I could bust out my actual dvd collection while she streams on her end.

I really love the internet, I love what it has done for me and it’s endless potential for good is awesome but so often people don’t seem to understand that the internet isn’t shit because of what it is, it’s shit because of how it’s used by big companies with the sole intent to keep you on the app longer because that’s how they make money. Anything in the hands of someone with money to gain from it means it’s potential will be rinsed out of it for saleability instead.

This was so fun to watch! I feel super lucky as an American living in Japan, like the convenience stores are an absolute staple in my life. Not only does each chain have its own specialties, but part of the convenience is that they really seem to think about what will make people's lives easier. I can buy concert tickets, pay my bills, top up my transportation card, take out money, pick up socks in a sudden downpour, grab any number of daily essentials, and even sometimes find fresh produce. If you come back to Japan, I highly recommend Seico Mart, which is almost exclusively in Hokkaido. Its "Hot Chef" hot food section has freshly made meals and side dishes, and they also prioritize using ingredients from Hokkaido or local specialties in a lot of cases. Honorable mentions to Mini Stop and Daily Yamazaki, they just keep on keepin' on.
