I am a dog owner with a big and powerful German Shepherd Dog, who is also friendly. Unfortunately, I am in a wheelchair due to a spinal injury and suffer from serious osteoarthritis in my knees. Many dog training groups have turned me down because of my condition. Can you assist me in improving my dog’s training? Ron.
Hi Ron, thanks for your message! If you're looking for a dog trainer in your area, we would recommend visiting www.findadogtrainer.com or if you're looking to get into training, you can find more information on the course we offer here: www.becomeadogpro.com
My dog is obsessed with tennis balls, lacking and having her belly rubbed. The belly rub thing is new. She's about 100lbs pittbull and she's super pushy about getting her belly rubbed. She literally throws herself on my lap to get her belly rubbed. She fell off the bed yesterday trying to get her belly rubbed. It's all she wants while indoors. I will only do it for a minute or two and then ignore her till she gets herself settled laying next to me. I believe she has some anxiety separation issues but if I leave her home with my chihuahua (the chihuahua is older and been here longer) she seems to do okay. She doesn't interact with my chihuahua but the fact that she's not alone keeps her calm. She won't eat or drink anything when I'm not there. She also is toy possessive with her male house mate (he's also a Pitt but half the size) she's never aggressive, just takes all the toys away from him. He's very submissive and an older dog about 14 yrs but still very active but just let's her take the toys away. She's the baby at about 6 yrs old and gets alot of attention due to her being very pushy about it. She will bully her way in next to me if her male house mate is next to me. Very jealous she is. I actively try to give each one separate individual attention everyday. My female is also by far the smartest dog I've ever had. Learns tricks very very quickly. Eager to learn. She is a pleaser and runs off my emotions. She's taught me to be more conscious of not yelling. It affects greatly even if it's not at her. My male is more selfish and can be very pushy about diff things. He wants what he wants and he tells me so but mostly about treats and walks. He pushy the boundaries with me since day one and I've had him 10 yrs and I don't give in to him. He don't care. He keeps on pushing me. He's very vocal but my female is very not vocal.
My dog constantly digs at the floor. Like on any floor... especially tile.. its not like he's not getting anywhere. He will just dig the corners of room for no reason or just the floor or anything
Hello! Sorry I’ve only just seen this! I wouldn’t recommend the one I did, but the dog training college have a great program to become a dog trainer I would definitely recommend 😁
