It certainly has many parallels to the Wimbledon 2008 final. A young Spanish ace with just a couple Majors clutching up in a fifth set to earn a first grass Slam and dethrone the established champion & GOAT of the era trying to gain/equal a record for consecutive Wimbledon titles. An upset to remember
A next gen player beating a 7-time Wimbledon champion, who also happens to have the best record in 5-setters, in 5 sets. Can't get better than that, can it? Btw where did you get a hold of a 4K cut of this?
Federer is loved around the world. For his generosity, caring for under privileged kids and families. I don't know anyone else does that. Djokovic not Nadal, I don't think so.
In his beginings Federer was very agresive , i think then the character of fancy man ate him, he forgot used his backhand for many years too changed his service motion and was to bad
Please Federer's matches in Roland Garros 2011, he played incredible tennis in that tournament (there were some highlights here on RU-vid but they seem to have been deleted, a shame!!)
Hey man, can you do some of Shapovalov’s matches at Wimbledon 2021? I’d really appreciate it, never got to see them and I’m a big fan of his. Would love to see more one handers on the channel, Shapo, Dimitrov are my favourites, Roger obviously is the main guy.
2008: Rafa maybe had the best defense the game has EVER seen. Just insane stuff. That defense on match point.... Also the Djokosmash was born. And even in 2008 before Novak truly found himself, he was still very tough to beat. One of his best performances that season in a match he lost.
I still remember this match. Alcaraz had an ordinary outing that day and made so many uncharacteristic errors. I guess he wasn't ready to win slams till then. Same thing happened at that year's Wimbledon against Sinner...
Even in the next match against Djokovic he started the match very good but the injury affected his performance clearly unfortunately. I believe that he could beat Nole at that match
