This channel is dedicated to the music videos and activities of percussionist Shane Reeves. Reeves is a classically trained percussionist with experience on a wide variety of instruments including keyboard percussion instruments, drum set, steel pan, orchestral instruments, and world percussion. Many of the videos on this channel are arrangements of rock and pop songs using only percussion instruments alone. These songs are thus presented in a new "realm" that is different from their original versions but hopefully equally as enjoyable. On this channel there are also performances of works specifically written for solo percussion, percussion ensemble, or mixed chamber music.
How is this 3ys old and just now finding me. I listen to all the Kight Rider covers i fet recommended... And i didnt even get recommended this. I came here via Mega Man. RU-vid dropping the ball on me.
These videos/covers are amazing! Thank you! (BTW, I was hoping to find a Mega Man playlist, and saw you have other collections organized like that; maybe a Mega Man one would be a hit too? I'd use it!)
Thanks so much!! I have a video game playlist. The only thing in it is Mega man 2 (all levels) and Contra. As I do more video game covers I may create a separate MM2 Playlist.
Both tunes were well done, but I agree with another poster. They would sound even better if you play Air Wolf first. Some people may not see the point of multiple instruments of the same kind, but differing materials being used in a performance. However, different materials sound a bit different, and the tonal quality is also different. The main types of musical materials are wood, metal, and somtimes glass. I'm no musician, but I can definitely tell the difference. I prefer wind instruments made of wood. I really appreciate the complexity when a musician or singer clones themselves for a performance. This performance was very well done
Fun Fact #1: Wood Man's canonical, highest-damage-per-shot weakness is Atomic Fire. Fun Fact #2: No one uses Atomic Fire to fight Wood Man, because Metal Blade exists.
