We have had ours for 7 years and find by washing the filters, in the reverse flow direction gently rubbing the surfaces, every few months keeps the filters. I also clean the filters every time with a small garden blower again in the reverse flow direction.
Thank you so much. I wish you were my teacher all my life... such a nice, simple and to the point way of explaining and showing things. I watched over 10 videos but could not understand and your video made everything so simple and easy. God bless you!!!
I am here as ours just broke with error 63. Settings on lower heat levels it dries. High heat, error 63. Everything has been cleaned out regularly. No blockages. It’s either the heat pump or the thermostatic sensor as a guess. 2 year warranty and broke 1 week out of warranty. Thankfully Bosch offering to fix it as a gesture of goodwill. Last dryer, Siemens, lasted 15 years and only failed as the removal guys dropped it out of the truck and the door snapped off and buckled the drum.
You do not need washers for a quarter turn tap, the only washers needed is the ones inside the machine hoses that screw onto to the tap. No tape needed on the hose to tap fittings. In fact the thread sealing tape also has been overdone in this video. The only thread that need tape are the two pipes protruding from the wall that the taps attach to. The tape should not be put on the way it has been, the first couple of threads should be left "bare" and winding commenced further in. The main reason being is that tape can break up and enter the tap causing clogging, which would involve the tap having to be removed and even replaced if tape cannot be extracted. I was also concerned how the new taps were tightened up. They should not be forced to face down like they were. Facing taps down is a trial and error thing, even for plumbers, and doing a few more winds of tape often allows taps to face down without excessive force, which can strip pipe and/or tap threads causing more leaks, not to mention wasting money as new taps would be required. Some of the Bunnings taps are very weak where threads are concerned also.
THANK YOU! I was totally stressing when I woke up to a cold morning and saw the blue squares, thinking "what the heck"! Being in a rental, I did not want to wait for someone to come out to fix it, so I jumped on RU-vid thinking "surely there is a video on this!" So happy I found your video and that it was a simple (no call out to tradie) problem, I COULD FIX. Very easy, quick and simple steps. Thanks again.
Bloody marvellous! I H A T E gyprock and installing anything in it! No matter how diligent I am; it always seems to stuff up. I gonna go buy me one of them there hollow wall anchor tools and never have to worry again. I’ve seen them- but it’s even better to see how they work and what they can do. I thank you for that. I’m now a new “liker” and subscriber.
depending on Bosch dryer version (mine is Series 8), if you tested it out and the water still stuck in the condenser, there's another step that missed. Open the condenser, throw out all the water. Now turn around the condenser. At the corner that pointing into the machine, there's a black dot button. Pulled that plug out. Turn the condenser back and store that black dot plug that you took out to the right front area where there's a hole for you to store it. DO NOT LOSE THAT BUTTON. You won't be able to switch it back to condenser mode if you lose that button. So that tiny black plug is to allow the water to flow out from the back of the dryer. Please read the guides if you don't understand. Make sure you don't lose any tiny things from that dryer.
What a great video and thank you. I followed your clear and simple steps, reset the wall controller and finally find the warmth in this freezing cold winter!
You’re a bloody legend mate,Thankyou very much as my elderly mother and me were freezing as I couldn’t work out what the problem was.I did what you said and it’s working. Thankyou once again👍😊
This mode doesnt work, it still stops after 20 minutes, wont start if i set it for a longer time, and its irritating to have to keep pressing the button again to continue the cycle. I can't leave it and forget about it and its distracting me from work its just so much easier to put it outside and leave to hang.
This is the worst stud finder you can buy completely confusing to operate. Manual was useless and I just want something to turn on put against the wall and find a stud or should I say BEAM which this cannot seem to do without a million operations to perform.
You briefly praised the 2 wheeled barrow for its stability, BUT when used in undulating areas which is very common, they tend to become unstable & prone to tipping.
