What are the specs of your pc? For whatever reason this map pushes my 3080 and 13600k super hard. I can run the game on every base game map on the EPIC graphics preset but this one drops to ~40 fps.
RTX graphics cards can have fps drops at certain lighting settings. The problem seemed to be related to a direct light source (the sun). I had this problem on my map when I was looking at a certain location. PC specs: i7 6700k, GTX 1070
It's an awesome mission, gameplay-wise better than most missions in the game. Location storyteling is top-notch and it's well balanced too. I play multiplayer as a squad leader and my team loved it as well, they said "very immersive and realistic". We would all vote for the pitch-black sections to get more illumination though ^^
personally i hate this mission. Its like a maze. if i wanted to play a maze game, i wouldve got one. They really need a few maps that are much smaller and more populated
If you look at the tree, an audio stinger plays, by the way. Seriously freaked me the fuck out. There's also whispering and shit under the floor in the chapel.
Yes, some maps do have that discrepancy. This level was originally intended to be a tutorial level, with a very limited briefing.The key concept was the prank. Someone called SWAT to troll the streamer.
Hard map. Yet keeps the player thinking. Unlike the school map which is too quick with the bomb timers and low threat enemies. I like the hospital map a lot more. There's so many ways to adapt. It's a map designed to truely test the player and endure as fights wear the team down. Just long enough to have them expreince the consequences. Lose a man or two? Adapt. It's like a longer version of the club mission. Which has a high floor that can get 2+ team members killed due to how open it is. Except in this case it's about how long the map is.
I never really looked at this map in detail, and there isn’t any explanation of the lore on the Internet, but other players i have played said it’s like a lesbian revenge cult, and either torture or traffic men or something like that. I don’t know how accurate this is. It’s something I have to further look into.
Havent been able to clear this map yet, always get flanked in the first hallway from Balcony Think i could use a shotgun here, tried it on Dirt Money (dunno the translation) and worked pretty well considering the layout of the map
A few tips: It's best not to give yourself away until you meet your first opponent. The approximate distance at which bots can hear you is 7-10 meters. If you move sitting down, the bots can't hear you. Equipment. You can use optiwand and check every corner. You can try playing with a shield. You can also take a grenade launcher and get a lot of grenades and not jelly spending them everywhere. (g key - fast throw).
It seems so easy, but I did around 30 attempts and still can't complete it solo pistol... I constantly get killed through freaking steel bars and boxes, or got flanked
I would highlight 3 tactics for getting through the game alone. Basically you need to avoid direct confrontation: 1. Take a optiwand and use it to check every corner. 2. Take a shield. bots shoot at the body, the shield is good at holding back attacks, but eventually the glass will get damaged. 3. Instead of additional magazines, get grenades + take a grenade launcher. As an example: take a pistol with light armor, 10 grenades, a grenade launcher with 4 shells and 3 magazines for the pistol.
What a let down this map and overall the "whole game" 1. Its too big. Open maps simply suck with the AI. You can see enemies from faraway and they don't react to your shouts. The shouts themselves are muffled and don't sound correct when yelling at open spaces. The warehouse? Too big. 2. The suspects behave the same way as do all the other suspects in the game. 3. Overall look of the map itself is ugly. The constant yellow glow with no shadows just makes this map look super ugly. 4. There is hardly any music or tension. The themes and world building just fall flat. The game feels lifeless and poorly made. The cheaply made AI photos, briefing pictures speak how quickly this was put together.
I don't know. In early access the maps were more lifeless. Performance dropped in the release. ai in vigilance mode turn into a spinbot. See you through small slits, have eyes in the back of your head and shoulders. Suspects realistically behave the same way: 95% of the time they pretend to surrender every time. In SWAT 4, some opponents would immediately and definitively surrender. The developers also made the classic mistake of many developers - they added opaque glass, smoke through which bots can see you. The visuals are fine with me.

Man, I don't remember. About 50 tries. The easiest were Port and Cars Dealership, each under 10 attempts. The biggest problems were Farm and Hospital. These maps have the worst performance by the way.
This is such a weird mission, with everyone looking the same and nothing about what’s explained in the briefing is actually enacted through the gameplay.

Bots in the release version were made even cheater. They're still just as eyeballed: "eyes on the shoulders and back of the head", reactions faster than human ones, look at you through the wall when they run at you... Now they're also stitching through most walls and metal doors.
lol I never understood the one man army intrigues in these type of games. You have a team available to use at your disposal. Use them! You know, just like in real life. Playing Rambo isn't realistic at all nor it was meant to be in these type of games.
@@spider_sapiens And in this game there is already that type of challenge you're looking for even with your teammates around lol. You guys are just forcing it beyond reasonable doubt trying to justify that it's better to play this way when more than 80% of gamers will NEVER have the skills to play as good as you guys do. You're just on a different level and a different beast. However, it is NOT more fun to play the way you guys do. More frustrated and less immersive in general for sure. I been gaming my whole life so I know lol.
Oh and mind you, I too is quite a skilled player too in general lol. At least in hard difficulty single player modes. But I still know my shits lol.

Hi, I'm kinda new to mods on Ready or Not. How to install this map? I went to the Mods menu, choose that, but I can't find on that map where you choose the missions.
