Excellent video, detailed step by step. I found two very dirty motors in the trash, one 900W and the other 600W. Through your video I was able to disassemble both and clean each part inside and out, and put them back together. I bought the Cups and Extractor Blade on Amazon and have two powerful and new Nutribullets. Thank you very much.
I got a broken Nutribullet off the "free" table, bought a $1 plastic "top gear", and with your instructions, disassembled, cleaned, replaced the gear (different video) and the darned thing is making smoothies!! Great explainer!
I was gifted an old Nutribullet that was clearly neglected. It had visible stuff in it, pressing down was very hard. I have always been a fan of taking things apart and cleaning/fixing them. I got it almost torn down and couldn't figure out how to get the plastic shell from around the motor. I found you video and it held the answer. I've got to say that you did this video very well. You didn't add a lot of fluff to it, got to the point. You were clear and easy to understand. Great video!!
so went through the second set of a batteries . It is possible to wire the dc adapter directly to power the motor. I would rather just plug this thing in then keep dealing with batteries.
I was so ready to have a good as new nutribullet after watching this vid but for some inexplicable reason one nutribullet screw on the fan bracket and one covering the power cord guide is a square head and not a Phillips??? 😑 and I don’t have ANY square head screwdrivers. I’m stuck. 😢
Thanks. Glad I found this video. My NB posts were broken as well. I'll try your baking soda hack! I especially like your alternate views for detail, very helpful!
If you're like me and all fuses were fine simply pry up the socket with something flat like screwdriver or plastic remove tool etc, then carefully pull it out. The cable that connects to the back of the port is long enough so don't worry, you won't rip it out. After disconnecting the cable remove the plastic trim, and put the trim onto the new port. Reconnect the port and insert it back into console. Done.
My Nutribullet base is working as the motor is working but the blades are not spinning. I realised the gears on the base got worn off. I found the bits when I removed the cup. The cup apparently apparently did not fully engage. How do I replace the gear on the base?
I’ve had my NutriBullet since 2017. It stopped working the other day and I was ready to purchase a new one. Then I thought, “What if…?” Your instructions were brief but complete, and the appliance is working again. Thank you!🎉
Followed everything. Easy to understand.Even removed the tiny springs and cleaned them and replaced them. the little white tabs move up and down perfectly. BUT not working!!!!! So frustrating..................! The lid engages and locks perfectly. but nothing....
If i buy a laptop with 512gb ssd, am i able to add a secondary 512gb ssd for overall 1.024tb ssd in the system? Also after i change the storage in the hardware, do i need to do anything for the software?
My solution for me.. I took the bottom part off that holds the batteries. I held the power button a few times to dissipate any charge. Left it alone for a min. Reattached lower with the batteries. Turned it on and it seems to be fixed. Doesnt move on its own
My metal locking tab above battery connector just broke, Would it be a problem to leave the battery connector just plugged in without the metal locking tab? Should I tape it with electrical tape?
It will still work if you just connect it as it is BUT vibrations and bumps can shake it loose and give you problems, even a short circuit and possibly damaging your horse. I'm sure purpose-suited tape would work as a simple fix for the broken metal clip 😭
Thank you! I was able to fix mine. However, it was a broken standoff that caused the issue. I have to use a longer screw to hold down the contact switch base. I was able to fix it.
I see you're using a lithium iron phosphate battery, but is it possible / okay to just use a lead-acid battery instead? I just want to make sure that using a lead-acid battery won't cause any damage.
Thanks for helping a brotha out! I performed this on my old Toshiba a few years ago, but never my acer that I got in 2020. Now I can play Star Wars Outlaws with no problems 🥳.
Hey Phil, I know that you did it already but I still want to make sure that if I install another 32gb ram on the slot and there is 8gb ram already soldiered on the motherboard. Is the max capacity gonna be total 32 gb? Or is it gonna exceed the max ram capacity which is 32gb and show error?
