Liked because when I followed the steps in your tutorial, I was able to replicate the result and it solved my problem; simple and well made content. Thanks!
Thank you for making this series of videos! The GIS class I'm taking has us learn through text, and it's been such a struggle. I've learned more within 20 minutes of your content than the hours I've spent reading the textbook.
Concise, well paced tutorials with digestible amount of content! When you save edits, is this logged somewhere and can you go back to the project version prior to those edits? And maybe compare the new version of the project to the old version side-by-side? I'm just thinking of version control similar to Git in how you can view your commits, look at the differences, and revert back to a previous version. Might be answered elsewhere in your tutorials but haven't got there yet (or might not be a feature in this version of ArcGIS Pro).Thanks.
Thank you. When joining polygon to polygon have you found one Match option working better than another. For me Center within has given the best results, but I still need to do some clean up afterwards if there is a curved polygon.
Just came across this. I'm trying to understand LiDAR a bit better and you touched upon it here: you mentioned the first returned come from the surfaces with the highest density, is that correct?
ahh the virtual layer creates that strange cartographic effect!! I was wondering why my raster came out as an irregular shape, and was how I arrived here. Brilliant video and information!
Was this Lidar point cloud classified in ArcGIS Pro, or in eCognition? My Lidar point cloud is not classified upon import, and I am wondering what software you recommend classifying it in?
