I made a video on this problem long ago and you can access that video from the playlist. This issue of delay has been a real concern and some changes were done in the JJ Act as well as Rules and Regulations to address this. Some reports are suggesting that the system is improving, yet sadly the problem is persisting at few levels.
As a case worker one needs to be aware of ground realities. Read about the role of major stakeholders/ functionaries/authorities who are to be contacted for supporting a child. Situational questions are asked to confirm how will a candidate handle a particular situation. Basic knowledge of child related laws is always warranted. Most important thing is your good intention and child friendly attitude. They are likely to see your demeanour for examining your approach. Be calm and pleasant during the interview. They may ask about previous experiences. So keep some instances refreshed in your mind.
Hello R/Mam can a parents adopte a girl child if they have already biological children's means one boy and one girl child.. Mam my client suffer with this problem. Because they are real sister's in relation . What this is exempted in jj act or not at present or in new regulations in cara. please reply soon as possible because this is very big problem I and my client face.. thaxx
@@KavitaBhandari thaxx Dear Mam for reply.. but our tehsildar not accepted my application and said to me apply through cara and DCPO also said that is not possible on baisis of cara's new regulations .. in this situation at where we are apply adoption
The restriction in the new regulations regarding number of children is not applicable on “relative child adoption”. As you said the PAP in this case is sister of the child’s parent, it is a relative adoption.
First, the child and parents will be given counselling. If the problem persists, then dissolution /annulment of adoption can be done by the same DM who had issued the adoption order. Application for dissolution needs to be filed after necessary counselling and approvals.
hello ma'am just saw your JAG Indian Navy video in which you said they release notification twice a year is it still true? as I have just missed out on January notification When is the next notification releasing ( in which month)? Thank you
I have never been an employee in CARA. I am a freelancer who was associated with CARA for a short duration only as an outside expert for some specific training workshops. I can only give information about provisions in the law.
Hi Kavita, It's going to be 3 years in the coming February since I registered in CARA, but the pandemic started just after that month so the agency social worker conducted our home study in Dec 2020. My question here is, as per the new rule. Is it after 3 years from the date of registration or 3 years from the last home study the social worker will re-conduct the home study? Updated: I just the saw the CARA portal with my login. "Info! Your Home Study Report is Valid till 01/12/2023" I see this message. Can you please tell me if is it Date/Month/YYYY (Indian date format) or Month/Date/YYYY
Home study report is valid for three years from the date it was conducted. So in your case it is from Dec to Dec (3 years apart). I think the date herein has been given in the Indian date format. But you must confirm with the concerned agency once.
