"The best season in all Yugioh GX" no Just no, is a meandering, worthless waste of time Season 3 is the peak of Yugioh GX A lot of wasted of time chapters are in Season 4 and very little happens and worst is all Jaden solo. the final Duel with Yugi is great and same with Crowler's duel but the rest is just meh Wasted characters yet again oh Asuka/Alexis' treatment of Jaden being well depressed was so insufferable to watch. I did not care for Chazz or Syrius either. oh And Jesse is back, the biggest mary sue in all Yugioh. The worst Aspect of GX is that undoes Kaiser/ Zane dead and in poor taste. Is just awful and very short season. The real ending is Jaden never returning to duel academy after fusing with Yubel Oh And Yubel is just there and no one bites and eyes about it Fujiwara was poorly executed, Darkness was so lame compared to Yubel and we got nothing about the Light of Destruction that is still out there

GX is the anime that got me into YGO in the first place and yep, I do have to agree, Judai is the most developed main character out of all the series. Though I also like Yusei, the only gripe I have with him is that he's too flawless. Makes him less realistic compared to Judai. Atem is just all "I'm ancient and I'm awesome" and not much else Yuma is alright ig. I used to dislike Zexal back wjen it first came out but now it fits right in the middle of the pack. It's pretty cool. Yuya = S M I L E C U L T L E A D E R... and that's his entire character Honestly can't say much about Yusaku himself due to me not remembering but he was interesting. Shame the anime messed up everything and everyone else though... Yuga from Sevens is a younger Yusei imo. Obv doesn't have his history but he is quite a competent tinkerer for his age. A big strength of Sevens is that it develops most if not all other characters properly whereas most of the others downgrade the rival over time (with Kaito and Reiji being the exceptions) and make the females irrelevant as the series goes on. Ye, so that's my reason for not only loving GX but also every other series except for Arc-V and Vrains. I have yet to watch Go Rush so I didn't mention it

It was too Judai-centered, many good side characters were ruined and wasted so that Judai can shine, not just Kaiser. This is normal in Yugioh animes, but in GX it was too much. Kaiser for example was ruined the most, in S3 he was nerfed and disrespected at the end so that Yubel can survive and fight Judai, and then in S4 he was completely ruined and abondoned. Most of Ygo rivals are done dirty by the end tho..
Why? They would have censored it. And we don’t want that. Remember, Yugioh is mainly for a teen demographic in Japan. As are all Shonen manga and anime.

I'm so glad that Asuka/Alexis finally realized that her and Judai/Jaden will never be together romantically in this season because Asula/Alexis really needed to move on from her romantic feelings for Judai/Jaden and find someone else to love romantically.
I honestly like this season despite Alexis/Asuka being a jerk but whatever. Btw I like your thumbnail. Jaden/Judai looks good while next to yugi cuz of course and darkness as part of season 4 arc
The reason kaiba’s name didn’t disappear is because the people who disappeared either lost to truman or didn’t have a deck to defend themselves. Kaiba being the last one left means he either defeated truman in a duel or truman never went after him
It was very forced, they didn't know what to do with the characters who are stronger or about as strong as Judai. Yugi and Kaiser weren't even shown for example (they made sure that Kaiser can't even duel tho). It was too Judai-centered as always, he had to be the one to save everyone again..
Yeah it stated that Seto Kaiba and Yugi Muto were the only Duelist bedside Jaden Yuki not to be defeated which you would think that was the perfect time to have them show up to defeat Darkness or at least create a open for Jaden Yuki that would've made sense
@treymykel I don't remember them mentioning Yugi. But in any case, S4 was very bad overall. Most of Yugioh series are like this, but Gx had such a big problem of being too protagonist-focused. Through seasons some characters were always done dirty so that Judai can shine. Also, in reality Judai would have lost much more Duels if it wasn't for the plot, especially in S3. My biggest criticism for gx tho is nerfing, disrespecting and completely ruining Kaiser in the S3, all for the sake of plot, I won't even mention what they did in S4 with him. Again, it is all so that Judai can shine and be the hero.
