Morecambe used to be fun! Now what has it got?

Charmingly simple television. Sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to young kids shows. It's a real shame the BBC wiped most of these.

This just reminded me of watching the dolphons and Sea lions in Morecambe, must thave been late 70s for me.

I moved to Morecambe in 1988 and saw one of the last shows Rocky the Dolphin did at Marineland. I remember all the animal rights activists demonstrating outside Marineland for months (after I'd seen Rocky). They eventually won their fight to have Rocky released. They flew him all the way to the Turks and Caicos Islands and let him FREE. Within 6 months he was dead ! Is there a moral to this story ? I don't know, but hey progress !

Memories! I was on holiday in Morecambe that year

If these were in the middle of Bod, surely they were contained within the full bod episodes. Why would they have been seperate.? Must have been a pain to broadcast, having to play another reel of tape everytime.? Also, no milkshake in this episode, what went wrong.!
