Your set up is great but the turtles dont need a heater they just need uvb and a heat lamp . They are native to north American and can handle cold temps. your video did help with a lot of ideas though so keep up your platform
This made me crack up 😂 Literally just today I had to catch my RES about to commit turtlecide 🙃 Somehow she managed to not only get high enough to escape halfway out of the tank, but she also somehow figured out how to unlock it and was strong enough to lift it 😅😅
Enjoy your videos as I am always learning about red eared sliders. We found one in our yard as a bAby …that was 4 yrs ago. If I could find the perfect home for our female “Lucky” I would as I need a much bigger tank for housing. Keep making your videos!! Thank you.
Canister filters..are really nice when they are working. It always takes me an hour and plus some just to get it started, and I set it up every year when my koi need to come inside for winter. 👺 always fun setting those up…
not sure if you will get this comment but... i adopted a 10yr old red-eared slider from someone who passed away. I watched a bunch of your videos and appreciate the information! Definitely helpful to get me up to speed.
I definitely want to replicate this set up for my RES. I will be setting this up in the loft upstairs, so I have some concerns on weight capacity. Have you had issues with your canister filter with the tank sitting on the cinder blocks?
Looks great! I have a red slider in a small tank and want to do a bigger one, but not to sure how. Your video have given me some confidence to try! Thanks
We want you back! Hey man I love your videos but even if you are done with RU-vid, can you make a video just showing us how you and your turtles are doing? And if you will ever post again? Thanks.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, I own two male red eared sliders, Ive been wanting to get a hold of a snapping turtle.. but they're illegal in California. 😔 anyway, I really loved that bamboo idea, Im gonna do it on my red tail catfish pond
