Is it possible to replace GPU (nVidia GeForce GT650M) in an old HP Envy DV7 laptop with something more powerful, like GTX1070? Is there any chance this could actually work?
Why does it need to be completely covered in flux ? And is it ok to heat that much the new one? I mean, a pc turns off when gpu hits 100 and u heat it to maybe hundreds?
@@indang3r610 As current flows through a chip, it generates heat due to electrical resistance. As you increase power, the current rises, leading to greater energy losses in the form of heat. This heat must be dissipated to prevent damage to the chip,so this type of heat genarated by this way is diffrent. By design, these chips can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Celsius for a limited period, such as when exposed to a hot air gun during soldering or repair processes. Additionally, the circuit board must be made of heat-resistant materials to endure these high temperatures without degrading.
Hhah Hi, this is good question! The combination of surface tension, solder mask, flux, controlled reflow conditions, all work together to ensure that solder balls do not stick together during the soldering process.
@@juliusarandilla5454 Hi i think this looks like pressure sensor issue, if you can open and check that. Unfortunetely i dont own this compressor amy more otherwise i can help. Thanks
@@PlasmaMan82 thnx, if the light oil eats the O ring, I might try ATF trans oil since auto trans have rubbers in the valve body, I heard that ATF is OK to use in jacks, not brake fluid
which was the issue? my compressor does not recognize the pressure in the tires anymore when plugged, and when starting it detects only the pressure in the pipe and stops immediately.
how do you know which gpu will be compatible for upgrading? I'm replacing cpu in my laptop but I know which cpu to choose because of the type of socket. How did you found out which gpu to choose? Im asking because maybe in the future I will do simmilar process of desoldering gpu. I want to upgrade Nvidia geforce 820m
As long as it's the same PCIe generation, it should be compatible at the hardware level, but you may need to mod the BIOS to make the motherboard recognise it.
@@amritlohia8240 with what would you be able to replace a AMD Radeon HD 7470m for example ? i have it on an ASUS K54HR laptop from 2012 2nd gen CPU i3 2310M
@@JABRONIANGELOR Models from around that era may have a socketed GPU, so you wouldn't even need soldering/BGA machines - but some ASUS models use a custom type of socket, so that would make upgrades difficult to impossible. If it is a standard type of socket, you should be able to upgrade to a Radeon card from the same era, like the 7490M or possibly the 7590M or 7690M. The 7700-7900 series used a different architecture, so wouldn't be compatible, I think. But the only real way to find out is to test it, and then to try to mod your BIOS (or ask someone at one of the well-known BIOS modding sites to do it) to get it to work software-wise.
My compressor does not power on anymore. Put in charge, the led blinks but the pump does not power on anymore. I opened it and tested the batteries, they are at 8V so I guess it's not a battery issue. Any idea? thanks
То ,что один человек сделал,другой всегда разобрать сможет 😊. Спасибо. Для меня очень полезная видео лекция. В моём насосе такая же проблема. Надеюсь отремонтировать. Ещё раз спасибо! Удачи Вам😊
I know there are external graphics cards could be connected to laptops (as using cable m.2 ngff -hdmi) using an external dock/adaptor.. i ask if there are External docks/adaptors for mobile graphics card?
Going to do this as one of my first major soddering jobs on my little lenovo 130 11. It desperately needs a new cpu and im scared but exited to give it a shot. Any tips?
hi how do i make sure that the new gpu is stuck into the right place, is there a slot for it that it just checks in? i have an asus k53sc with a similar gpu, like it's soldered into the motherboard, and i'm trying to replace it, thanks in advance.
