To have a Service manual or Schematic is great, but in general is more Useful to explain basic principles of Work and repair of This Kind of Machines. Or to explain some specific malfunctions in this kind of machines. Thanks for the Video!
I am so glad there are people like you out there showing a complicated situation like how fix a Chinese plasma cutter mine is a LTP 5000D it's got the pilot arc thingy for fast starts so I am to believe now my question I do think you may have said a thing or 2in regards to them all be the same How ever I have a lotos modal of the same crap is is the same thing as far as what you did with yours
I really liked your video on the plasma cutter as i just bought one and i used it one time for about 10 mins or less and it just stopped working and had no arc and the thing is a jayfl cut50df but i could not find any information on it but the vevor cut50 looks just like it with it being a non touch HF cutter with a cut60 AG-60 torch. The cutter still blows air along with the fan running and the ready light working but has no arc so i would love to have the SCHEMATIC to hopefully get it back working but i do not really know to much about this kind of work but i am willing to try and get it going. I wish i knew as much as you know about them but i will learn as i go thanks
Hey I just bought a cheap plasma welder and only used it for 10 minutes before the oc light came on and I let it sit and cool down, but after a couple hours I tried to power it on again and it wouldn’t come back on at all. I’m so lost with what to do. I need some help with how to use my multimeter and what settings to put it in to test the little components and what the correct number to look for? It’s called a hit box cut 55 with the pilot arc
my cut 50 had blown a mosfet which caused the fan and the volt screen not to work. Changed it out... the fan and the volt reader works but when Press the cut switch it sparks and pops inside the box... any idea? I am reopening it tonight to see if anything else is burnt....
I'm working on a SIMARC-5000D do you have a schematic for a machine like this , the power supply board is all one board, found a 3w 150 ohm resistor bad . no air out torch, arc some time. Air valve works with external power.
Wish I had your skills. I have a chinese 200P ac dc tig and it turns on but display doesnt show but fan runs and then turns off. The thermal resister on the bottom board gets hot not sure if this has something to do with it. Spent money on 2 lots of repairs so far and seems to last 2 hrs and die. Very frustrating.
welder is easy to repair ,ac dc convertor is the same type but different voltages. if the PWM generator is not burned or damaged, look for some burned active components, transistors or diodes.
I find your video very educational especially when it comes to these plasma machines. They seem to be sold everywhere but very little is available for troubleshooting. If you have the schematic for a CE cut50 I would appreciate it. My machine is less than a year old and it is completely dead. Absolutely no sign of life at all. I have asked a few people but they all say it could cost more than a new one without a schematic on a hourly base. Also if you have any idea which board or area to look at for a no power problem. I have checked and rechecked that their is nothing wrong with the power going to the switch. Power is also going to the first board after the switch, but nothing happens and no lights or noises.
I am working on a Longevity CAT-518D. Power to the mosfet board (160vdc when operating on 115Vac and green led on mosfet board is on), but no arc. MOSFETS, diodes and gate resistors check good with multimeter. Not in overload (red led not illuminated). I would appreciate any schematic you might have that could help. Sub'd and sent email. Thanks

Well did it work? I'm having some trouble with my unit too.. it's a 3 in 1 type..keeps tripping the internal breakerFan and led work... trying to find a short in system.. no signs of burnt components any tips...good video by the way.!
Hello good video i wish there were more videos tearing into the cutters and welders. I can find a million how to fix my iPhone BUT i want to try to figure out what the difference between a cut 40 and cut 60 and is it something you could do an upgrade to a cut 40. Turning a cut 40 to a cut 60. I would like to have the schematic don't have a broken one but would like to look over the wiring. THANKS

I have a similar three in one machine it stick welds fine and have 280 volts on the terminals for cutting but there's no high frequency, no spark at the gap inside any ideas? Doesn't cut
Hi. Great video. I have a chinese 120A cutter. What i did is i connected Hypertherm Duramax torch to this cutter to see if it would work. Well it worked for couple of minutes but after torch burned. Obviously was bad idea to use Blowback torch with HF pilot arc cutter. Anyway long story short now Cutter can turn on with original P80 torch, but doesn't cut through metal, only pilot arc is on not turning to main Arc. I placed Multimeter on lead and torch side and immediately burned out 1000Vdc multimeter which shows something wrong. Do you have any idea where to check? I even replaced main circuit board for new but same sh...

can be lots of things ! start to check output diodes and look for some burning inside , ang you can send me some pic from inside just to see what type of plasma is . anyway you must to have some electrical experiance to take some messurments and be careful for capacitors !!!

agguilar i had same problem in begining there was problem also with some diodes on rectifier and mosfet driver was in short for that reason when i put new mosfet they burn instantly check also resistors on every mosfet gate , whatch video again if you have problem after write me again
Want to bet the power Fet's don't have a power sharing circuit nor an individual over current limiting circuit..... These CUT 50,60 units are sledge hammer designs with weak handles......

@@manudehanoi sorry to disturb, mine have 2 boards, there is one which has the the spark gap, I think it's responsible for producing the arc is that the one, just wanna make sure before I order the wrong one. I also suspect it is the one causing
