Car uses full synthetic 0W-40, Mobil 1, about 7 Quarts, when pouring the 7th quart measure with dip stick until full, this is what Mercedes recommends for DIY oil changes
Thank you for video doing mine this week. Was that 6 hours total or just removal? My GLC only has 55k miles, I am a little disapointed therm did not last longer.
one thing I would point out as I can in to watch your video just after watching a LTT is that there is no greetings, and I dont know what is going on because there is not audio explaning it, but I still love watching pov video of pc's getting built, I definitly will go watch your parts 1 and 2:)
I just replaced my C300 2017 thermostat, but didn’t change the manifold gasket. The car won’t start and I have two error codes. P0193 and P0108 along with a few throttle valve codes. Any idea what could have I missed?

Look, I like Elon as a person, but am I the only one who thinks they look poorly designed and ugly/stupid for it. I like to look at an efficient and intelligently desinged car.
My start stop hasn’t been working since i got the car last year (CPO 2018 c300)but I never noticed because it was my first car with this function, replaced battery earlier and noticed it was working now, thought I had done something wrong and google lead me here, thanks!
thats.. definetely a new way to do it i havent seen it before. i havent ever applied thermal paste because.. my pc was prebuilt but i think i'd do like a 5 dot method kinda like how number 5 looks on a dice that'll spread on the cpu well enough
You nee to replace the complete hose as the rubber is breaking down with age. If you have a good main dealer they should do it for free as Mercedes are aware of the problem. The replaced mine recently on a 2015 W205. C200.
