I was on trip north of Los Angeles during the winter almost a year ago, and I started to smell gas when I turn on the car, my brother and I started looking for the cause of the smell and found the hose clamp would not hold during the cold weather at around 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The quick fix was to add a small hose clamp to stop the leak and smell inside car cabin. Personally, I see no need to take it to the dealership as the issue was resolve for me.
