windscreens on motorcycles are often just to keep wind from hitting you in the chest. I like short windscreens because taller ones can cause buffeting.
At the time of recording it was literally brand new. It's just not that great. I've got two other Ryobi vaccums and both are fantastic, this one just misses the mark
@@MrSilus2000 because he have no clue what he watched lol. Either way i wouldnt go for tech max just because of this issue and in my country tops up 600€ on regular 300 xmax. On honda 350 good thing has electric positioning windshield but its not high enough for taller people and what i have read from forums etc xmax is better for taller folks then honda and more confortable for longer rides
Worst. Vacuum. Ever. I use it now to hold my raincoat because that's all its good for. A hamster with respiratory issues sucking through a straw would do a better job. Avoid.
Thank you so much for the review; it was incredibly helpful. The details you provided give a thorough description of the product. I'm so glad I came across your post. Which car vac you would recommend ?
Thanks for posting this video. This scooter is cheap in my country - America - I can get this for 6k. However, the Vespa GTS Super Sport 300 is roughly 8500k (I am torn between the two), it does not have a windscreen and the storage is less. You've given me a lot to reconsider!
@naev.3344 the Vespas not even remotely close to the Xmax 300 VESPAS ride like a tank with the smallest tires in the world !!!!! You hit a bump and you will almost get thrown off the bike !!!!! There's no comparrasin ....not even remotely close !!!
30KM is pushing it, for me it's not really suitable for long rides, especially at high speeds, the buffering and seat aren't comfortable enough (in my opinion) but I'm also a heavier guy and 6ft so that could be a personal issue
Thanks for taking the time to post. I’ve had the full size pet vac and it has worked well for me. Thought I’d give the handheld a try but glad I found your video.
No problem! Yeah the full size vac's are much better, this vacuum is okay for cleaning up very small areas but honestly I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone!
other than the "tech" of the scooter's screen connectivity crap, this bike is awesome in the power, simplicity ,reliability and cheap in the maintainence stuff . Got it since DEC 2023 and use it as a tourer, work commuting and other everyday chores . Comfy and stable. Love it as it is.
Great review. Thanks for making this. I actually prefer the straightforward approach from someone who actually owns the scooter and uses it instead of the other videos I've seen. The tech issues are disappointing. I also figured the windshield was inadequate just from the pictures. Would be great if you could just use an app on the phone to lock and unlock instead of the fobs. I'd be curious what fuel efficiency you're getting and what you end up spending on a week in gas for your commute. Also curious about how easy the oil change is.
2022 Tech Max was beautiful scooter. Was a proud owner of it (although painting is cheap, it's very scratchy). Complete digital board, which started from 2023, is so ugly, it's like some cheap, in prototype phase, Chinese scooter. You don't know if Classic or Tech Max is more terrible - classic has that one screen and the upper part looks like something is missing (which is actually a part that comes on Tech Max), but tech max looks like it has too many screens, like some failed hybrid lol. Only worth from Yamaha now is T Max, but it's too expensive, so bye Yamaha, I will miss you 😭
Hi! Great info pack in just a few minutes. For a first scooter do you recommend this xmax or the nmax 155? I have the moto license for 4 years but haven't ridden more than 200km. I want it mainly for city commute. What do you think? Thank you!
Connectivity on xmax is just stupid. Y Connect is compulsory and when you are not riding the bike, Y Connect keeps trying to communicate with the bike when it's turned off which drains your cellphone battery. I should've bought an ADV instead.
2024 and they still using 12V outlet, jesus christ. the whole bike is just cheap plastic, sigh, every generation of vehicle just seem more and more lower quality
Nothing cheap about this Scooter.....well made and thick heavy duty body parts !!!! This motor is so smooth to have the get up and speed it has !!!! It's so well made and has so much storage under seat !
The app is fliddly. You hsve to go into the settings in the app and your phone to grant permissions and always connect, otherwise you have to manually connect everytime. Also the navigation wont work unless you open garmin on your phone
That's all I care about ....I have Google Maps on my phone mount plugged into 12v socket ! The reliability is unreal and fast off the line and top speeds 87mph
Man I want to tell you it's an amazing bike I have one there's some things and glitches that happened with you did not happen with me anyway if you really don't like it that much I recommend you buying a Vespa GTS you will love it it's also comes 300 and it's way much smaller and it's a bit faster maybe
Tiny and much slower than the Xmax 300.....no room at all under seat .....tiny little tires compared to 15 inch front tires and 14 inch for Xmax !!! Think and sit on these maxi scooters before buying !!!! Xmax wins all day long !!!! I tested them all !!!
@SamiAddam MY 23 Xmax 300 is faster than my friends 300 GTS which is like a small child's bike ....tiny tires he hates his and is getting the Xmax .....he's losing money because of his costly mistake !!!!! He hits the same pot holes Xmax goes over easily ALMOST THROWS HIM OFF VESPA and he loses control 🤣 😂 😒 😑 Question is : Would you rather be safe than SORRY ????
Thank you for your input. Trying to decide on the xmax 300 or the honda 160. I live in the states so im limited to the adv 160. Adv 160 is only 4.5k dollars compared to 8k for xmax.
Xmax is $6,100 where I'm at in the US. The question you should ask yourself is, do you plan on using it on the freeway? I'd get the Xmax if you're going on the freeway, otherwise the Honda ADV will treat you well.
You will end up kicking yourself if you get the slow Adv 160 compared to the more versital Xmax 300..........87mph it does easily....so you can use it EVERYWHERE !!! ITS A no brainer !!!!
Try disconnecting the battery for at least 1/2 hour and then reconnect and see if your system resets so you can see your phone in Bluetooth settings. If that doesn't work, the dealer should be able to re-initialize your system. If that doesn't work, make a warranty claim.
First of all Im 6'3" 205 lbs and I bought a wind screen from Amazon Motoforti brand ....its a deflecter and is 29.99. After you install it on top of wind shield you wont feel any wind at all on helmet.....it makes helmet whisper quiet ... ...you didnt know this I see. This is the best Maxi scooter for ride and comfort for $6299 out the door I paid Nov 23
It can be tilted both up and down AND tilted back .....experiment with different settings until you find the perfect setting for yourself !!!! Best of luck, mate !
The scooter has a built in dick head detector so thats why you can't connect or figure out the tech, I have one and it is faultless and everything works fine. How the F-ck did you "Back" into something?? Under seat does get warm because it is over the motor, WORST review I have ever seen (If you could call it that), Pathetic mate.
No way possible YAMAHA IS made much better ....look at handle bar area for an example of skipping build quality ....check up on the different build quality.....your looking at outside plastics ....inside frame and motor and build means more !!!!!
The build quality of the Indonesian made Yamaha Xmax is superior in its build compared to the Honda .....look at how handle bars are made in relation for the sturdiness of the front end.....no comparrasin with the numerous points of contacts in front end ......take the plastics off and you can really see cheaply made Hondas front end !!!!
