I’m so glad you speak Yiddish because it’s dying!!!! I am Ashkenazi Jewish; my paternal grandfather was Jewish and I want to be able to speak the language my ancestors spoke, which is Yiddish.

Hey man, saw your interview with Andrew. I've had a similar experience to yours. I left a community in my late teens, and I totally understand your situation. Let me tell you, my twenties were difficult but I did a lot of things that hindered me (drugs, STAY AWAY), and other useless pursuits. It took all my twenties to realize that. Stay focused and sober, you will come out at the other end.
Joseph, you can help people by translating books such as Oliver Niño 's book, and his wife Mandy Morris 's books The Promise, Limitless by Jim Kwik, Anthony William Medical Medium's books, The Father of the Permaculture Bill Mollison's books, to Yiddish language. I'm sure there are other people like you who need these knowledge you can find in those books. It helps you and everyone greatly. To make better your life. The pronounciation of Tür reminds me of Swiss-german more than german in this case. :) Could you also show how it's written in Yiddish or is Yiddish not used for writing as much as Hebrew?
I used to be Catholic. They had lots of rules. I was afraid if I didn't obey them I would go straight to hell. I was in a bad way and was babysitting and tried to read the Bible. It didn't compute as much as I tried. Years later I heard that if I ask Jesus into my heart and to be my Lord and Savior and the same night I came home to my parents house and found a Bible in the closet. Hello Joseph, I came across your interview with Andrew Gold, did you ever get the resources you needed to find a job and an education? I knew these were things you were striving to find.
There will be interest for sure. Start simple. Greetings, numbers, colours, basic nouns and verbs. Progress from there, and maybe research others who do this in other language (see Reşat Ören on RU-vid who gets alot of interest on the rare occasion he teaches Turkish). Probably need to run through the Hebrew alphabet too. Try and be disciplined to do (eg) one vid a week or month or whatever, whatever is manageable. PS: your English is getting really good, and we like you. Thanks for your contributions.
Just found your channel because i was reminiscing about growing up in Monroe, next to Kiryas Joel, and wanted to know what was going on currently because of the gett protests for Malky. Im very glad i found your channel. I’ve met a few gay hasidim growing up, good friends, but we lost touch because they went into hiding, or married women to make their families happy. I may have even talked to you online back in the day. This video breaks my heart. I hope youre doing a lot better now, it seems you’re much happier currently :)
