Pedophiles are everywhere, but I agree with you that it is very disturbing that these people are working with kids, when they have such a terrible record. You did a good job reporting this. Maybe it warns some people and helps them to be cautious with these men.

Hi Joseph, would love to see more videos of how you’re doing? Have you thought of joining a different Jewish community like the reform one that’s a lot more laid back and progressive? The Satmer community that you’re in is known for being the worst and most irrationally strict which is a shame. In the UK the Satmer community has slowly reformed and isn’t like how it used to be. Less violence in schools as the parents complained a lot. I watched a video interview with Izzy Posen who left the Satmer community here in London like how you did but he was 20 years old and it was so interesting to see the parallels between you both.

It seems people of that community don't protect their young children. That is criminal. Years ago I remember watching a video where an orthodox Jew talked about how prevalent pedophilia is in the NY orthodox community. He was a maintance guy in some type of a mykva for men where he saw a very respected and elderly (!) rabi raping a 6-7 year old boy. When the rabi got caught he shouted at the maintanance guy 'how dare you disturb me!' and wanted to go on! The man said that since he revealed what he had seen to the outside world the whole community cursed him out and he was worried he'd never find a job there, he also feared for his safety. He talked about many horrible stories how this problem is (not) dealt with and that the police are never involved. In my view pedophilia is the problem of every insular and sect like community where men are in charge, and leaders of the community have power over minds and bodies of the community members. Its criminal for the communities not to report these offenders to these the Police. Should the police begin bringing charges against the leaders of these communities, we might be able to deal with the situation accordingly.
