It's such a shame that the shows that have actual talent involved are the ones that never last. But boy was this show awesome when it was around and I'm so happy to see that Home Free is still doing great.
I've heard Tim's growls so many times that it doesn't surprise me anymore, for me the craziest part is the fact that Tim looks exactly the same as he does now whereas Geoff looks noticeable younger
Wow, that was really good advice, to break the harmonies down into sets of two, instead of rehearsing the whole shebang at once. Be a lot easier to keep clear on where you're supposed to be... :)
Anyone know what happened to Ten? I've tried looking them up, but it is as if they disbanded after this. Same with most of the groups featured on this season. Pity, because there was a lot of talent here. Go Home Free - they have recently produced an album celebrating this time in their musical careers, "As Seen On TV."
That's not the lowest note I've ever heard, but BOY is it my favorite. I'm sure I've rewound the 10-second reveal of that note hundreds of times. The brief silence to all look at Tim, the judges' reactions, the screams of the crowd... Magic
you're welcome! There is a third 'What Burns My Brisket' on my channel if you'd like to watch that one too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nFM77TnWUTg.htmlsi=Fsoh_szbEZ1Gukn5
This made me crack up. Being from Canada, I totally get why this "frosts your biscuit"...it gets so cold. What had me on the floor laughing was when you said you were an a cappella slut! You crack me up Tim. Stay warm and if you do have to go where it's cold, no more snow angels. lmao 💕
Thanks so much for this compilation, Ingrid. There s an understandable emphasis on the individual groups' songs but these are well worth watching. So much talent on one sound stage! You can also see the producers' way of featuring certain singers in each group in action . The groups were asked to nominate two singers who could be featured in these group songs, and Home Free nominated Austin for his amazing voice and experience of group stagings, and Tim because no other group had a basso profundo. You can also see the the joke about Home Free not being able to dance is nonsense. Austin, Tim and Adam have quite a lot of complex moves to work with and do it very competently. I can't help thinking that Home Free rather "swallowed up" Austin, who the producers had clearly marked as a future star. He always says that he didn't want a career in pop or musical theatre but to be in a group, but the happiness he experienced with the response to his solo work and its continuing success, and the fact that he never rules out doing something else with his life, makes me wonder if there aren't big changes coming.
Tbis show had great performances every season but this was my favorite singoff between groups. I miss this show so much--grear, talented contestants and great, knowledgeable judges. Just talent all around and a joy to watch.
